Melinda Moore has been found.

RIP

I find myself speechless with grief so I will quote a poet who, even though he never met Melinda, is nonetheless a friend to her.

He wrote:

"This may sound strange but: better that it was on purpose & was what she wanted to do. Not less sad but a chosen fate rather than a stupid twist of fate.
Put a lump in my throat. She was funny."

I say: funny and kind and charming and intrepid. Larger than life (that is why life could not hold her)

And forever with us.

Chau Melinda! Hola Melinda!

For a local funeral might consider lining the route between the Morturary or Church to Cemetary. With a lone rider about every 1/4 mile. Each with same uniform stature. Fall in behind the procession but break off before the cemetary. Leaving remaining services to Family and Friends. Group ride it from there to Fort Ross. For unofficial memorial service.

RIP. For someone who didn't know her. I'm heartened and warmed by the respons of the community. I'm sure she felt it.

Big Red got her wheelie at the Summit, just like I promised her
earlier today. Probably one of the easiest stand-ups I've rolled
in quite some time... almost like someone was holding a hand
under the front tire for me.

I'm sure she could see my headlight from where she was sitting.

I'll miss ya Big Red.

May you find peace, Melinda. :rose

May your friends and family that you've left behind also find it.

:rose Just wanted to add my RIP to the thread. Thanks all for trying so hard to find her, and I'm glad at least she has been found!

:cry :cry

Rest In Peace Melinda.

so is there somethig really positive that can come out of this?

If Melindahad known if this community cares so much for one of their own...

Incredibly sad ending; her disappearance did cause an impressive outpouring of help and support from the bay area motorcycling community. From what I have read about her she would not be surprised.
