NFL 2018/2019 Thread

...if Crabs don't get cut...

Very funny, B4B :laughing (easy to laugh about it now that he's on my team)

Hated Neon Deion for all but the year he played for my 9ers. Am now looking forward to him getting booted from the broadcasting chair.

Bills just moved up to #12 from #21.

They still have 22 as well.

12, 22, and 65 is definitely enough to move up to 3 or 4 to get a QB.

well, i think he's a fantastic pickup for the 9ers. Still plenty of cap space, and now with a blue chip name like Sherman, there should be no doubt to other FAs that their window of success is open and they should be strongly considered if they want to go to a winning team.

hopefully the Raiders will be able to have a winning season again, which will make the clash at the Jeans even more fun :thumbup

After reading contract terms this could be great deal for niners. He will certainly be up for Seattle games.:thumbup

It's an insane deal for the Niners. If he is horrible, they cut him with almost no cap hit. If he's awesome, he's locked into a contract next year for well below market value.

I mean, if he's fine with it because he wants to stay on the West Coast and beat Seattle 2x a year, that's cool.

Here comes the whirlwind of FA signings.

Keenum -> Denver
Cousins -> Vikings (probably)
Brees -> Back to NOLA
Allen Robinson -> Bears
Norwell -> Jaguars
Watkins -> Chiefs
Richburg -> Niners

Rumor is Cousins is getting 3 years 86M FULLY GUARANTEED from Minnesota. Holy shit.

Bradford -> Cardinals
Bridgewater -> Jets
Jimmy Graham -> Packers (wtf?)

carlos hyde to the Browns...I guess they came to the painfully obvious realization that they can't draft worth a shit

meanwhile, the Raiders didn't do shit but release a player that got sentenced to jail, and picked up a reserve blocking TE...:rolleyes

Rumor is Nelson is going to re-sign with the Packers for less. I would love him in SF though.

Relax though, the best teams usually do not do much during Free Agency. Typically it is a the fucktards that don't know how to solve their own problems through good management that throw money at Free Agency. Sometimes a player too sexy to resist shows up and a well run team will buy them, but usually the teams most active in Free Agency are perpetual losers like the Browns and the Jets.

....and they’re still considering drafting Barkley #1

Dude, if the D can keep improving, the Browns would be a scary, "grind you to dust," team with both those guys pounding it. That is a football team I would like to watch.
