NFL 2018/2019 Thread

omg 16 mckenzie punt return for a td gets sidelined by his own teammate wow

Niners bringing in Alfred Morris on a vet deal.

Damn dude is only 29 (so 40 in RB years).

They must be playing it super safe with McKinnon's "calf strain"

That is a really young team. Bringing in a guy with some years isn't necessarily a bad idea to get your Aldon Smith/Ricky Williams type guys under control.

They don't have any guys like that anymore, I guess unless you count Foster.

unfortunately even with the tutelage the likes of Bowman, Brooks and Willis, some guys like Aldon Smith just never get their shit together.

I'd be really nervous about McKinnon. This could be a good move, depending on how the line blocks for Morris.

Redskins cut Scandrick. I would be shocked if hewasn't a Giant by the end of the week. Vegas is putting NYG as one of the top odds (on the outside 10-1) landing spots for K-Mack.

I think those bookies do not understand our Salary Cap situation, LOL. We badly need a pass rush guy to compliment Big Vern's run stuffing, but we cannot afford The Truck without letting Beckham go, which simply does not happen.

I'm almost positive Mackenzie won't trade away Mack without huge, huge compensation. He has leverage AFA Mack's still under contract this year and the Raiders can franchise him the next two (without a contract).

The Jets are also an outside option on the boards right now. I wouldn't count them out. They like splash deals and have the money. The Green Machine would be pretty ugly, that defense is already not bad. Might actually put together something that could finish Brady off in a basket.

lol...Ridley, have you contributed yet??

they only have 16M in cap space. They could afford Mack's cap hit of 13.1M this year, but since he's already holding out cause he wants more, they wouldn't be able to give him what he wants.

Bears, Titans, Texans, Niners, Colts, Browns -- those are the only teams with the cap space to give him the contract he wants.

Can you imagine if he got in the rotation with Clowney and Watt? I would watch that team like every week until one of the blew another gasket and went on IR.

cap space + payment to Raiders for trading him, probably in the form of 1st round draft picks. It's a lot to ask a team to produce.

He would seriously be the last piece of the Niners front 7, too.

Yeah, it has to be a team that loves those Dolphins/Redskins style big splash free agent deals.

He doesn't have a problem signing big deals. He just structures them in fantastic ways.

It's not the money part. It's the giving up a #1 or 2. He probably doesn't have any control over that though.
