NFL 2018/2019 Thread

Belichick's deal with Satan must be due to expire soon, the Patriots lost their 2018 first round pick (Isiah Wynn) for the year with a torn Achilles....

It will be fine, he will just make a walk on UPS delivery guy into the #1 receiver and win the Superbowl again unless my guys can get it together.

If Brady's O-line keeps fragmenting the only thing he's going to be doing is picking pubes out of his eyes from all the teabagging that's going to happen. Patricia's gone now too.

Is this finally the year it comes undone? Fingers crossed.

One can hope. It kind of smells that way and the Jets D is looking kind of fierce.

So glad my dad wouldn't let me get into 'roids when I asked him. Incognito is the wrong name for this guy.

Raiders just signed Rogers-Cromartie  does this guy have anything left in the tank? if so, good get.

What was his PFF rank over the last five years?

This weekend is going to be the closest to real season as the preseason gets. Raiders tonight at 7:30 and 9ers tomorrow at 1:30.

That Deadspin article is correct. "Do you like re-treads? Of course you do, you're the Raiders."

Yes. The Raiders continue to pick up older guys on D the Giants should have kept, but thought they new better than. I am still mad they let Justin Tuck go over there.

The Raiders should get some nice veteran help from DRC for 1-3 years.

Yeah, back when the hand and eye were still attached to Vecna.

WELL DONE, SIR.

man I know it's preseason and all, and I know the chargers get hated on for moving to LA, but damn.. couldn't even sell out 27K seat StubHub center on a saturday night, and it was fuckin EMPTY during the 4th quarter.

Leaving SD has killed that team.

… but because the NFL is a model of high profit sharing socialism, the Spanos family will still make millions and millions of dollars.

OBJ 5 years/95M

41M guaranteed right now. 24M in injury guarantees. 5M in incentives.

That's a lot of money.

Yeah, but they may be able to capture market share if they can start winning. A lot of people like them for a deep playoff run this year. I feel like this is one of the more poorly managed brands in the NFL and kind of always has been, but if they are a Superbowl threat when the New Ballpark opens, it could keep them from becoming the NFL version of the Clippers.

The injury promises concern me. Dude is a baller without peer when he is playing, but he spends about half his career injured.

Saqsquatch got a hammie, Evan Engram got a concussion, Big Vern now has an injury. Just seems like these last few years these Giants are made of glass. Like 4 of the last 6 years we have led the league in IR Players. I feel like this is a coaching thing somehow, something about mental toughness. Like, if the Jets were this banged up all the time, I would be looking at the field, but it feels like the team is just built fragile. Not looking good for our resurgence...

Then again it could just be they Gnatis are reporting all injuries instead of rubbing a bit of dirt on it and soldiering on.

That is what I was saying about the Mental Toughness, Coaching. For SURE last year that was the team quitting on the Coach. Guys were just lining up to go on IR because, "Fuck That Guy."

Coughlin wasn't really the dude to build that or accept it hough. I suppose I could juts blame it on Reese. Man, I hated that GM.

i guess the packers didn't look for the discount double-check. ~33M per is quite a bit of scratch even for Rodgers.
