preseason. almost worthless. but this is what the Raiders offense looked like for most of the last 20 years in preseason, before stinking it up for the reg. I can see some red flags popping up...that's all. nothing unfixable.

but an awful reboot of his career was awful. should have been 2 completions both to the broncos, one for a pick-6. last year he threw a pick-6 vs. Detroit but got off the hook with a penalty that made no effect on the play. There has to be some concern about which Jimmy G will show up to the party come week 1. Nothing can be done about all that now. But hey, nowhere to go but up from a 0.0 qbr!

AB seems to be way overzealous about his helmet. I believe he legitimately feels this strongly about it. Why? probably because he be crazy, lol.
I liked that Mayock basically told him that there was all that could be done, now stfu and get on the field. Keep Gruden the "good cop" in the relationship. But I'm not sure if that's going to help AB. To him, he's clearly way more important than the coach, GM or NFL. And to be fair, the NFL isn't the greatest ambassadors of safety. But damn dude...move the F on will ya?

Hard knocks will be another interesting episode tonight.

Colts oline let him down, basically plagued by injuries cuz they couldn't protect him, hope carr doesn't go this route
 
Hope he takes a year off and then comes back to a team with a real oline
 
Who knows. He could have been playing behind an actual O-Line instead of having his kidney lacerated and pissing blood.

They got spoiled having a Manning for so long. Those guys are indestructible. Seems like teams that have a QB like that tend to neglect their O-line, because they don't believe they have to worry about their guy getting hurt.
 
the more info I get and the more I think about it...the Colts have seriously fucked over a good guy. Luck could have collected a whole year's paycheck by sitting on IR. He tried to gut through another injury. He told them a week or so in advance of his thinking.

Multiple people in the Colt's camp must have leaked this info to Schefter. The timing of the leak spun into Colts fans booing him off the field, and him forcing out an early retirement speech. awkward and wrong. They did Luck real dirty.
