The Eagles offense was down to a nobody receiver, at least three practice squadders, and Zach Ertz. If you're going to go full suck, might as well do it right like the Giants did last night. The Zach Ertz release on the goal line was amazing.

It was one of those "longest games ever." I tuned away to watch Baby Dubs get beat but tuned back at commercials and it was still on and on.

That is one good thing about working out at night at the gym. I can usually catch at least half the game while doing treadmill workout and then if they have it on downstairs I can at least keep up with the score between sets at least for MNF and TNF.
TBH I only really catch big games for the Niners on TV during the regular season and try to watch playoffs and definitely Super Bowl.

The Defense is in a full rebuild, the team is very young, and they have a rookie QB. This is a team that based on talent is expected to be bad.
The thing is, they kicked the ever loving shit out of the Eagles in the first half. 17-3 and it wasn't even as close as the score suggests. Defense stopped everything, they made big pass plays, the run was working.
Second Half, complete collapse. Nothing worked on Offense, the Defense could not stop anything. Total ownage. This is not the first game this season they had like that, where the first half was dominant, and then after halftime, they just get owned.
That says to me that you have coaches who are getting outsmarted and the roster talent is not the problem.

Yes it does say that. That's why I questioned the use of the word "suspect." Confirmed it is. That final TD should've never happened. That was a simple release/shift that should've occurred and to me, that falls on the coaches as well.

Yeah, well, you start haing a conversation about, does the the DC go, is the HC the problem, do you clean slate the Coaches, some people want the GM too, but I honestly think the GM is building us in the right direction.
I says "suspect," because I am not ready to pick on a specific coach yet. The DC is clearly not working, I just don't think James Betcher is the guy. Shurmur really seems like he isn't the guy too, but I trust the Owners to figure that out.
