Those two 3 and 16 passes pretty much raised my estimation of Jimmy G. His line wasn’t holding for a lot of that game. But he persisted. Damn.

I will say Shanahan seems to be a better play caller.
That would be an amazing cap on NFC East hilarity. I watched a little of that game, didn't really look like either team wants a post-season.
He couldn't put up big numbers when he had AJ Green, Tyler Eifert, Joe Mixon, and a pretty good Offensive Line.
He's also 32.
I don't see him getting any better than he is now.

I mean. They've basically had 2 QBs for the last 15 years. Palmer and Dalton.
We're not talking about the Browns.
Sure, the Bengals suck, but they don't kill QBs. Dalton is just... average, and they will save 17M next year by cutting him or trading him to Chicago or whatever.
Burrow is likely to be AT LEAST as good as Dalton, and if he is actually able to be a "franchise" QB on a rookie salary that's basically the best way to actually build a good team quickly.
We're not talking about the Browns.

Meanwhile, in the Toilet Bowl, the Giants and Skins put up the highest scoring game in the NFL this week into overtime.
It almost makes me sick to say, but I kind of want to root for the Shitbirds, just so the NFC BEast will still have never had a .500 team win the division.

I'm somewhat concerned. Lynch will be running with a purpose on Sunday. He's been away for the season but sounds like still in shape, not necessarily game ready.
I do like that Niners will have Kittle and Sanders for the game. Kittle didn't play last game and Sanders I think only played a half.
Russel Wilson is gonna do a lot of roll outs after watching Goff do the same. They need to blitz or rush from the outside and contain him.
Jimmy G and Shanahan need to throw more down field to 1 on 1 coverage. See if they get any calls.
