NFL 2019

4-12 last year, 7-9 this year, and mathematically alive up to the final game. :dunno

You using some kind of new math? :laughing

The most disappointing game was that Jacksonville game.

My bad. I thought they were 6-10 last year.:gsxrgrl

What a liar. He wanted the game over one way or another.
He already knew the playoffs were not going to happen. The Titans won.:rolleyes

I'm just not so sure Gruden is working out. People love his on-screen personality and fiery nature and seeming knowledge of the game, but I'm not sure that quieter coaches who don't look like Chucky might just clean his clock now and in the future. I watched Hard Knocks and I'm not sure making grown men knock on their desks like high school kids is a workable method for getting the best out of 'em.

I want to believe, but.....

So what your saying is, quitting is something the Raiders do...especially against their most hated rival. Makes sense since they are leaving Oakland. :twofinger

Gruden does well with a defense and good QB....like every other coach.

He didn’t win in Oakland the first go round. His claim to getting Jeff George to QB well at an older age. They did have Jerry rice and Tim Brown.

His SB win in Tampa was on the heels of tony dungy’s defense.

He’s not an innovative coach anymore.

He only had George for a year, then they signed Gannon in 99...

They (Al) drafted Charles Woodson, probably his last decent pick before dementia, in 98 as well.

That was a pretty solid team in the late 90s to the Super Bowl, so can’t really knock him for that, but you can blame him for the demise of the Buccaneers.

The one shining moment of JaCarcass Russell was he engineered a game winning drive against the Bucs, in Tampa, that pretty much got Gruden fired. :laughing

I think it was offensive pass interference.

Why isn’t the seagulls fan calling out all the crap holds that Seattle got away with? ;)

Sorry, guy, but the Giants are like the Jets. Every year it is said that they either are, or on the cusp of being good. It's an East Coast centered press thing.

The Giants QB is an unknown quantity, really. They traded their best WR and are wasting the talents of the best RB in the league with inferior line play etc.

Plan on a couple more years of suck.:afm199

LOL, we are NOT like the Jets.

80's Superbowl? Check
90's Superbowl? Check
00's Superbowl? Check
10's Superbowl? Check

I ain't that worried, we have bad years sometimes. I reckon we will get our 20's Superbowl soon enough.

I believe in DJ and Saquon is not a question, neither is Evan Ingram. Odell was a waste of Cap Space, please see the 2019 Cleveland Browns if you have any questions. I see this team being 1-2 years away if they can get a Coach, but that is a big if.

John Mara sad all the right things at his press conference.

All credit to the Seahawks for playing above their current state. They can really get it up for the Niners. Russell Wilson is as close to Kryptonite to Niners as it comes. I was in disbelief that they lost but that was some weird ass officiating, hurting both sides, last night. I so expected a gimme to the hawks.

I kept having the Deja-vu all over again bit near the end of the game, just feeling suffocated that, once again, Seattle would beat em. And its always Wilson to Lockette. Gawd how many times!!!!!?!?!?!?!? And I kept thinking about Julio Jones and that highly irregular clock stoppage a few weeks ago. We had to listen on radio as I drove home from family weekend away in driving rain. Ms BA and I were in complete disagreement, because I remembered the Jones play and she was the one having faith in the Niners win on that goal-line tackle.

i just hope the demon is truly exorcised and that we won't have so many squeakers from here on out. Because I'm pretty sure we have to play them again in two weeks, nestpaw? And, since I can still see Sherman with that turkey drumstick in my mind's eye, it doesn't matter that it's a home game.

Seachickens will have to beat the shitbirds at home first. They Better pack their D-Cell Resistant Snowball Armor.

It’s time for the NFL to hire full time refs.

Seriously, how is this not even a thing yet?

gah, good try by the Raiders. Just didn't work out. Couldn't beat the 15 opponents on the field. Renfrow scored, then Ingold scored, but the NFL decided that any close plays were going against the Raiders and that was that. And ultimately if they won, they lose a few spots each round in the 2020 draft (they were already eliminated by the Titans for the playoffs).

Heck of a game by the 9ers! Yeah it was PI the play before, which caused the delay of game, but, there was a clear holding on the play before that which was not called, so whatever. Still, tackling the guy on the 1 inch line with so much on the line was fucking baller.

Fucking Giants suck balls and they aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Barkley will want out next year. What a shitshow embarassment of a team for many years to come.

ESPN is reporting, finally, the Cowboys have cut Garrett loose....

Wow, the whole NFC East but Philly is cleaning house. Dallas seems the best poised to go from worst to first in the Division, but much like D.C., I suspect toxic busy body meddling from ownership will get in the way.

I would say the whole Division still looks like it is primed to be worst in the NFL again next year. With new coaches and young quarterbacks on most the teams, I am very curious to see where the Division is at in 2-3 years.

The coaching contest gets more interesting, because Dallas is like the only team with more money than the Giants to spend on it.

I fucking hated the dude in Seattle but damned if he hasn't shown that he's pretty legit.

I liked him even when he was with Seattle. It was super frustrating because he would talk hella trash but you would still know he was right.

He’s a Stanford guy too, so probably way smarter than my WSU ass :laughing
