NFL 2019

KC: 3
49ers: 2

I think I like your numbers, or thereabouts.

:p

I do think KC may pull it out in the end though, so I might flip your team/number.

I'm kinda counting on my guy Andy Reid to fuck up the last possession with a minute and a half left and be forced into an impossible field goal to tie.

37-24; Fo' Nine'

I don't think the Chiefs, or anyone for that matter, has an answer for the Niner offense and the Niner D will come up with enough big plays to keep the lid on Mahomes for the most part.

There. I said/typed it. (prays it doesn't bite him on the ass)

You can't say "or anyone for that matter" Seattle, Atlanta and Baltimore had answers for your 9ers :twofinger

The 9ers D won't be able to cover the Chiefs offensive weapons (i.e., Olympic track team with pads and helmets) for enough of the game to shut them down. And if the same KC defense that shut down Henry shows up, I'd give the edge to the Chiefs.:party I also pray it doesn't bite me in the ass

BUT....Titans, Texans, Packers, and the Colts all had answers too for the chiefs. In all 4 of those games they gave up 100+ yards 3 of the 4 games, 188 yards to Henry in week 11.

The one knock on KC is they don't eat clock because they pass so much. If they are trading scores, the Niners have the edge cuz they'll eat clock and keep the ball out of Mahomes hands.

Speed does kill however, none of the teams KC loss to has the defense and front pressure like the Niners.

Niners also beat Seattle once this year.

Sure I can. There were large gaps in both O and D due to injury for that stretch of games. Both Kittle and Jyszczyk were in and out of the lineup which put a severe damper on the run game. On the D side it was much worse: Blair, Alexander, Ford, Tartt...I could go on. And yet only three games were dropped. The Atlanta game was a trap. Just came out flat and got outplayed there. The other two could have easily gone the other way.

The running games are different between the Titans and Niners and so are the backs.

Never said the Niner D would shut Mahomes and the speedsters down. Just that it would keep a lid on them for the most part.

:Port Here's to one of our asses being shreded.

I wonder how many people went from '49ers suck' to 'That's My Team!' during the course of this season. Especially down in Silicone Valley, where least year they couldn't even give away tickets.

Lots. And it's not just SV. My buddy from Sac says that the cube farm he is in has miraculously filled with SF fans this year.

Oh well, I'll play. Niners. 34-17. Sounds crazy to hold down Mahomes but that's what my sclerotic crystal ball shined as one scenario. The other inking is more like the 60+ point total many are predicting. So who knows.

The other thing I predict is a repeat of the Packers game where SF does most and major damage in first half. Man, they were set on 11 in that game, then dialed it back in second half. You could say they played a whole half of good ol' Preevent Deefense but I dunno, it was weird. Definitely face-saving for Rodgers, the Packers, etc etc.

I also keep thinking there will be a first down touchdown pass to Kittle at some point.

I'm failing to see where I claimed that no one had answers for KC. They certainly have their weaknesses and can be beat.

28-17 Niners

Mahomes doesn't have enough time for his big plays.

Not sure who may get MVP. I'd like Kittle to get it but that means they throw more.
