In an interview, Eli has reported Philadelphia as his least favorite place to play over the last 15 years. :laughing I'm sure they are extra proud.

"You go there, and that 9-year-old kid is giving you the double finger," Manning said, according to Neil Best of Newsday. "Not a thumbs-up. Not, 'We're No. 1.' And he said something about my mom; I had to Google what it was. It's just different. It's a different culture."

But it's been 15 years that Manning has taken at least one trip to Philadelphia each season. Is this something that changed over time? Has it always been this way? Did it get better or worse as he got deeper into his career?

"Now I see him and he's got his 9-year-old kid with him," Manning said. "Same deal. It runs in the families down there."

Ahh, yeah, both games against the Cards are later on in the season. I am very curious to see if the Niners take off this year. Grapp was all the hype and then got destroyed before he could begin. They have had another year to build since then. So I am very curious to see if Lynch is as good as I suspected.
 
I think it's more Shanahan than Lynch, but they had a hell of an offseason.
 
I hear Reuben Foster got a torn ACL. Niners don't look so silly now for cutting him loose...
 
They didn't look silly anyway. He was cut for breaking team rules. Sucks he can't stay healthy cause he seems to always fuck something up stepping out of line when he's injured and away from NFL facilities.

The cut him because he was brought up on charges. Charges were dropped. My position has long been that you don't cut a guy unless he is convicted of something. Looked silly to me. I'm glad that my new Offense won't have to play him twice this year.

I dunno what to tell you man. They cut him because he broke team rules. He flew his crazy ass GF to Tampa and had her stay in the team hotel. Then they got into a fight and the cops got called and shit.

The night before they played.

He was cut because he repeatedly fucked up, lied to Lynch/Shanahan about it, and then fucked up again.

sucks because he's talented as shit, but he's looking like a dude who is gonna waste his career.
