Rolls with it...
Well, McCarthy looked like a QB guru when he had Aaron Rogers... maybe he isn't the guru they thought he was.

After he left the Bengals, I hoped he was going to be successful. I felt he was pretty competitive going to 5 playoffs (maybe six) with Cincy, but the AFC is tough to go deep in postseason if you aren't a dominating team. They were always an OK team. I liked him as a QB, even though we played him twice a year, and always thought he held himself together well. Seems his time has run its course.
Player have been dropping like flies again today.
IMO there needs to be a league wide mandate that all teams have to be forced to install natural grass. Turf is killing careers.
Well I did also hear that away teams aren't able to do pre-game inspections of the playing surface because COVID, which likely also affects the cleat choice for players.
but the turf is fucking awful for ankles and knees.
What the hell? The Raiders weren’t televised on network in the Bay Area?
Yeah, I mean, it costs a shit ton of money to team owners when star players go down, so I assume they have a lot of expensive professionals looking at this.
Nobody buys the jersey of a guy on IR.

I mean, he played like 8 years in Ohio and every year but his first and last were pretty good. Like you say though, every player over 30 is suspect and he left that age in the rear view a couple of years ago.
I think he really isn't a bad QB and could run games well for a decent team, but like the rest of the NFC LEast, the Cowboys are fucking terrible on both sides of the ball. You cannot get an older 2nd string guy to carry a team like that on his back for more than half a game.
