NFL 2020

Yeah, dude, do you remember RGIII's first year before he got hurt? He was like the love child of Mike Vick and Steve Young.

I always felt bad for the cat that he was destroyed by the nightmare that is Dan Snyder, same thing for poor Jason Campbell. That poor bastard really could have been somebody if he had ever gotten a shot with a real organization before he was blown out by the hard knock life.

Too damn bad when talented guys get sucked into shitty teams.

I still have hope that when the Jets draft a QB #1 next year that Sam Darnold will get a shot to really do some shit with the Pats or New Orleans, someplace he could get a real shot to play.

RG3 was made of glass.

Shanahan letting him play hurt didn't help.

wouldn't surprise me. he doesn't have a lot of time left to have 4-5 more kids.

are the 5-2 browns really real? they're winning the games they're supposed to win, and losing the games bad that they're supposed to lose.

the raiders have played only one team (panthers) that they were supposed to beat and they did. they are 2-3 against teams they were supposed to lose to...not horrible.

raiders-browns is an intriguing matchup. from the raiders pov, this is a game they need to win. one thing going for Vegas is that they aren't tending to beat themselves this year. The "defense" is doing that enough on it's own, but it's not necessarily because of a lot of penalties. This has to be one of the most penalty-free Raiders I've seen in a very long while. So it's just finding a way to get the players to play better IMO.

That means Gunther's gotta go. The writing is on the wall. Marinelli was brought in to push Gunther, and the defense didn't improve. Gruden has been hinting at it, and I think if the Browns win this Sunday we'll see a move. But...goddamn, that defense is atrocious. Really, Cleveland has a few paths to victory here. It will probably fall on Carr to be perfect in order to win, which is a common theme. Hopefully they get a healthy o-line and a running game this week..sheesh

STEELERS!!!!

I'm more than nervous and somewhat giddy over this upcoming game against the Ravens.

LOL :rofl

This is the best Browns team I have seen since I lived in PA (2001). I don't remember them being this good in a looooonnnnnngggggg time. TBH, anything is going to look good after living in the basement for so long.

If they win the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes, yeah... maybe.... and a different GM/Coach combo... possibly...

:laughing

Have you guys been seeing the talk about Trevor staying at Clemson one more year? I don't think he wants to pull an Eli so he is just not going to go pro if the wrong team has the first pick. Why waste his talent at a perennial train wreck of a team..

Looks like Trevor's gonna miss the next couple of games with a positive Covid test, so that might play into his decision as it could cost him his shot at a Heisman..... :dunno

Have you considered that he may like fur coats?

they got close with dirty Sanchez and that amazing cornerback...what...Revis! that's the guy. Didn't they get to the AFC championship twice or something?

since then, not much. I thought Darnold was better than he's shown. Problem is, there's exactly zero QBs who can shine with an o-line like that.

Yeah, even the mighty Mahomey would look like ground beef if he was playing in New York right now for either team.

Football always lives and dies in the trenches.

I'm glad someone in here is old.

:laughing

6 years ago? :laughing (Sober Joe!)

(My oldest sister is 9 years older than me, she had the biggest crush on him. I really only remember his Rams games, Brady Bunch appearance, and movie wit Ann-Margaret in his prime.)
