NFL 2020

If I had to recommend a must watch game for this weekend, I would tell you all to see the disaster that is going to be Shitbirds vs, Cowgirls.

Right now, the Dallas O-Line is getting called out all over the press, including by their coach for not responding with fists to Andy Dalton getting decapitated by a dirty shot on the field. Even their Coach is essentially saying they played the punk:

The Cowgirls have never been a team that had much interest in projecting a culture of professionalism and they tend to view a player getting cut from his team for criminal violence in his personal life as a joyful opportunity to pick up talent on the cheap. That means that next game, this called out team is going to come and play angry and violent against whoever they come up against.

It just so happens that this angry, violent team is traveling to The City of Brotherly Loathe on 11/01.

Now, in the NFC LEast, the Giants are 50/50 on who they hate more since they have to live closest to the assholes in Philly, but most of the Conf agrees, and there is no question, they all hate Dallas the most.

As the East Coast Originals all kick the shit out of each other in a hatred going back almost 100 Years, one thing none of them can understand in this brawling brotherhood of old school street toughs is what the fuck a pack of Johnny Come Lately (1960? Fuggedaboutit) Fucking Texas Hillbillies are doing in the middle of their street fight every year.

The Eagles hate nothing more than themselves, but the Cowgirls from Dallas are a close second.

When the Cowgirls show up to The Linc on Sunday, pissed off and looking for a dirty fight, there is literally no team in the NFL more willing to sink to their level. This is the kind of seething, self destructive, human debasement that Philly lives for.

I would not be surprised if this game turned into a Miles Garrett vs. The Browns bench clearing brawl kind of shitshow before the game is over, so I would say keep an eye out for it.

I think it's just going to be a boring Eagle blowout, which certainly could lead to some scrapping. If Dak were playing, it might have been a good game.

Bro, do you even know who the Iggles are? They are incapable of making life on there fans easy.

As YOLO as Wentz may be at times, he's still on a whole other level from whomever the Coyboys are going to toss out. Bigger picture, of course they're going to let you down, but they're going to win some along the way. Just enough to get your hopes up, so they can crush your dreams later.

Given the way they play the foozeball this is what I imagine a bench clearing to look like in the NFC East...

:laughing By all means, I invite you go try to fight any of those guys on either team. Either team, even the little guys, even the Kickers. :laughing

Please record it.

I reckon a lot of ugly trash talk starting at kick off and will get it going and there will be a much higher than usual amount of grabassing and crusty thumb love in the trenches. It will escalate.

If I had to guess, I would expect Derek Barnett to take Zeke out at the knees, body slam him and tea bag the corpse, some shit like that, then helmets start coming off.

Nobody is watching this game for good football, the whole NFC LEast stinks on ice. They legit are contending for the worst Conference in NFL History. You watch this game for the train wreck.

Who knows though, maybe the Cowgrils have their spirits broken and will just roll over. :dunno

I called the whole division a mess a proclaimed the game would be terrible football?

Not sure where you are getting that? :laughing

It does seem to ooze off all of your posts, so there's that.... :laughing

I mean, I don't have any illusions about this year, been pretty clear about it? I still think another Ring is coming before 100 though. :dunno

If they win the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes, yeah... maybe.... and a different GM/Coach combo... possibly...

:laughing

Nah, that is going to be the Jets. Drafting a rockstar QB is stupid when you don't have a line to protect him, too many teams forget that these days. WR and RB are a dime a dozen. You need a line of warriors and then you buy a guy to put behind them. You can slop the rest of an offense together from mid-range draft picks and free agents.

I still think DJ can be the guy, he just needs an O-Line. We have a couple of Young Guys that might be real building blocks, but we need more and the ones we have need an anchor to settle them.

Russ has made a shitty o line work before. Not to the ship but with decent success until they put some pieces together around him. Phenom qb play makes even a serviceable o line perform better.

Kinda. You basically have to have a QB on a rookie deal if you're gonna spend big on the rest of the team. Unless you have an all time great in the mold of Brady/Manning/Rodgers/Brees that can hide the rest of the shitty team.

The last 10 years, the SB winning QB has been either Brady, Manning, or a QB on a rookie contract.

Sure, it makes sense to take advantage of a cheap QB, but like I said, you need a line first. Goes back to the old David Carr or RGIII scenario. If either of those guys had gotten drafted to a decent team, they could have been legendary players, but drafted to rescue a garbage Offense, they both had the talent smashed out of them while on a Rookie Contract Learning curve.

The Giants O-line is a train wreck. It has been in literal, "Full Rebuild Mode," for like 6-7 years straight. For us, I feel like trading up for Trevor Lawrence makes no sense, because he would just get demolished behind the same leaky protection. Same thing with when we drafted Saquon.

You need a sturdy and well welded frame in your car before you strap in a high powered motor. Otherwise you are just going to break axles and twist the frame trying to go.
