Rolls with it...

Good game, the parts I saw. The midget can QB for sure.

Given the way they play the foozeball this is what I imagine a bench clearing to look like in the NFC East...
By all means, I invite you go try to fight any of those guys on either team. Either team, even the little guys, even the Kickers.

The rest of your post just reads like...a sad Giants fan still hoping for the best.

It does seem to ooze off all of your posts, so there's that....![]()

If they win the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes, yeah... maybe.... and a different GM/Coach combo... possibly...

Nah, that is going to be the Jets. Drafting a rockstar QB is stupid when you don't have a line to protect him, too many teams forget that these days. WR and RB are a dime a dozen. You need a line of warriors and then you buy a guy to put behind them. You can slop the rest of an offense together from mid-range draft picks and free agents.
I still think DJ can be the guy, he just needs an O-Line. We have a couple of Young Guys that might be real building blocks, but we need more and the ones we have need an anchor to settle them.
Kinda. You basically have to have a QB on a rookie deal if you're gonna spend big on the rest of the team. Unless you have an all time great in the mold of Brady/Manning/Rodgers/Brees that can hide the rest of the shitty team.
The last 10 years, the SB winning QB has been either Brady, Manning, or a QB on a rookie contract.
Quinton Nelson over Saquon
Sure, it makes sense to take advantage of a cheap QB, but like I said, you need a line first. Goes back to the old David Carr or RGIII scenario. If either of those guys had gotten drafted to a decent team, they could have been legendary players, but drafted to rescue a garbage Offense, they both had the talent smashed out of them while on a Rookie Contract Learning curve.
The Giants O-line is a train wreck. It has been in literal, "Full Rebuild Mode," for like 6-7 years straight. For us, I feel like trading up for Trevor Lawrence makes no sense, because he would just get demolished behind the same leaky protection. Same thing with when we drafted Saquon.
You need a sturdy and well welded frame in your car before you strap in a high powered motor. Otherwise you are just going to break axles and twist the frame trying to go.
