Ravens-Steelers game postponed 4 days due to too many illnesses on the Ravens o-line.

Raiders had the same problem about a month back going up against the Bucs. The NFL response: move the game 4 hours earlier!

what the hell kinda boner does the NFL have to help out the Ravens like that? Steelers are getting jerked around too.

I was pretty disappointed the game was moved but if the Steelers can stay healthy that’s all that matters to me. I don’t remember the last time we played on Thanksgiving so I was super excited but oh well.

Man... the Cowboys are really, really bad.

To put it in perspective, the Washington team that just stomped a weeping mud hole in them got swept this year, both games, by the New York Football Giants.

Who are terrible.

All the NFC East teams are super weird. Any of them have enough talent to beat any other team on a good day. None of them are the 2017 Browns. They're like that aging ex-champion racer that still surprises you once in a while, but are mostly drowning in their sorrows in a shady model with a well-fed prostitute.

I think you give us too much credit. Even the horrifying, nightmarishly bad NY Jets could rise up and beat someone, because I believe in the any given Sunday, and you know, all the teams have high level draft picks on them and every team is made up of the best of the best of a national pool of millions of football players.

I think your analogy applies mroe to the Eagles and Dallas, although for Dallas it is more about losing their QB. Dak clearly was carrying that whole team on his back.

For the Giants and Washington, they are more like that gangly limbed 16 year old kid who shows up to the rumble. Awkward, inexperienced, but the kid will knock you out if you get too cocky and take victory for granted. The Giants literally have the youngest starting line up in the NFL right now and the Skins aren't far behind.

As much as I don't want Washington to get shit, I'm kind of rooting for Alex Smith a little bit, you know? That raw deal he got in SF and the horrifying injury in D.C., I'd like him to go out on a strong note.

I hear you on Smith, but unfortunately and realistically, this season only gets so good for any of them. It's most likely a first round loss no matter what.

Well, for my guys, I really want to have them get the playoff experience. It is the youngest roster in the NFL with a 1st year coaching staff. We were utterly devastated by the COIVD loss of preseason, OTA's, Mincamp and the fucking disaster of losing DeAndre Baker to his poor choices in company.

If the guys can get in and squeak into the playoffs, even with the asterisk of being the first shameful team to squeak in with 5-6 wins, it helps build the culture of winning that Jerry Reese finally succeeded in destroying when he got rid of Tom Coughlin.

The Defense is a great surprise, that is how we are winning a few games with minimal talent. That says to me coaching is getting us there. As we pull a fresh round of high draft picks next year, I suspect this team might actually even become competitive against real football teams.

I feel good about the future, even if we are not playing good ball right now.

Combined
they have the talent. But not separately.......:rofl

I think you should. I like that team and I think the QB has the cosmic misfortune to be the Ugly Duckling for a while but will become very good. I would not write him off as some probably did early on with the big funny run.

He’s a turnover machine. As funny as the stumble run was there ain’t nothing funny about the number of turnovers he’s had in his short career.

That is the concern for me too, the only one I have about him, but you can coach that out of a guy.

So far with 2 consecutive wins and a slim lead in their 3rd game in a row, not a single pick from the guy...
