Niners offense looks so much better with Mostert and Deebo.
Defense is looking fantastic with Uncle Sherm back.
With Jimmy, Kittle, and Bosa healthy this is still one of the best teams in the NFC.
Yeah, we still need “that guy”.
Mullens was passable today. Worthy of a backup.
Yeah, he is a pretty good back up. I'd rather have him than the Colt McCoy situation I'm dealing with.

Just be glad you have a QB. My dumpster fire donkeys had to pull in a practice squad WR that was bagging groceries a month ago to play QB today. At least the raiders lost and Mahomes continues at show why he is the best in the league![]()

I am in the minority on this, but I feel that Mullens is getting much better. That final drive was as confident as any starter could be. He's still a short guy at 6'1" and it takes extraordinary talent to excel without height. I felt like this game was a turning point for him, but he is functioning within the system that Kyle built and he had Deebo and Raheem back, which are keys to that attack. I think he has become more reliable than Jeemy. I kind of dread getting Garopallo back tbh because it will be back on the very expensive roller coaster. At one point yesterday, his numbers were the same as Goff but with less turnovers, I think....I am also in the minority of thinking that passes that bounce off of unready receivers aren't real interceptions even though they have to be counted as them. I don't count them in my evaluation of a QB, unless it's like Elway, who threw the ball too hard to be macho. Mullens will always have the issue of tall rushers batting at his throws.
Meanwhile, over on D, I am so impressed with Saleh and Co. They are playing independently of the offense, basically broadcasting, "we might not win the game, but we are gonna f#ck you up anyway." The defense has had this character all along for the last three years, it's the offense that sputters. The defense are the true Faithful to my way of thinking. They don't let the bad events of the offense sway their desire to play hard. I guess that's loyalty to Saleh and each other, Sherman sure spent some time talking about it after the game. And yes, having Sherman back really helped their effectiveness, I think more because of his leadership than current ability.
BUt a strange kind of thing has occurred. The Niners can rarely beat the Seahawks, and the Rams can rarely beat the Niners. It's some kind of weird pecking order that just applies to them playing each other...
I don't know what to think about Raiders. I only watched much of first half then left record on so I could go do things. I was going to watch the rest then heard the fianl score so I just erased it.
nice gutty win by the 9ers.
couldn't have been a worse meltdown by the Raiders. No poise. No heart. My only hope now is that they get to 9-7, sneak in and get a little playoff experience as they're probably getting destroyed by an upper echelon team. But if they get mugged by the Jets again Sunday, then all bets off and it's another 7-9 season.
Patricia was fired by the Lions today.
Fired is fired....
I could see them going after Saleh, but they need a GM... and avoid the Belichick coaching tree.

I don't know, Joe Judge seems to be doing pretty good job of stamping out the dumpster fire that is the New York Football Giants...
but on that note, I would like to call all fans of the sport to come together in a thankful moment, from high and from low to stand together and rejoice in in how fuck-stank, bog-rotten, and suffering the Dallas Cowboys are right now.
Can I get an Amen Brothers and Sisters? Fuck Dallas, Hallelujah!
