Lock loosing out to Teddy is an odd one but not surprising. They both seemed to be pretty even in their respective starts, although I would say Teddy seemed to have the edge with respect to composure. Bridgwater made the pro bowl in his second year then blew out his knee and was kicked to the curb. So overall I think he can be successful with Denver given that their receivers are studs, just hope the line holds up. For Lock I think the situation in Denver his first two years would have been bad for anyone not named Brady. New coaches and systems two years in a row and he got injured in each of those years. Lock would make a great backup and he’s still under his rookie contract for two more years, so he’s cheap and trading him would be a mistake. Houston’s issues are deeper than Tyrod.
But, it’s the Not For Long league so who knows what will happen. To quote the great Shanahan, “We don’t even know if we will be alive on Sunday.”
