NFL 2021

Looks like I jinxed him... :laughing

Edit: Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. :laughing

Man, what a truly terrible football game. I wonder what the record is for most penalties in a game that are just shitty execution and not stuff like fighting and unnecessary roughness. I think this game might have won. What was it like 30 penalties between both teams?

What a shit show. The sad part is there was a period in the 3Q where you could see what kind of QB DJ could actually be, when he was able to stay on the picket and get some actual protection. He was running through his progressions like an actual pro, making his reads, making the throws.

This shitty Offense is going to beat the potential out of that kid. My best guess right now if they continue to be trash through game 6, finally start to turn it around mid season, but a day late and a dollar short and we throw the kid away for another 1st round QB next year so the poor kid can live out the rest of his career as a battered 2nd string kid ala David Carr.

Poor bastard never had a chance.

Jones keeps running he's gonna forget he's QB with all the blows to his head.

Hieneckie looks way better at the position than I expected him to....

I thought the same thing about Heinecke. Better than I thought. I’m still a Fitzpatrick fan but this young man seemed composed and made good choices. That said, I only watched 2.5 quarters bc football hours on east coast time sucks.

I miss west coast football schedules :cry

I'm a night owl quite a bit--- I love being on the east coast when it comes to watching live sports.

I would have to disagree on him making good choices. I only watched about fifteen minutes of the game as I switched to it to see what was happening but in that 15 minutes I saw a ton of throws that made me cringe watching it. So many sailed balls and throws into coverage i was just waiting for a pick. Saw this in the first quarter and when I watched a little of the fourth it looked like the same thing and even the announcers made mention of how sketchy a few throws were. But they pulled it out in the end so winning glosses over the mistakes....

gah, 18 players on the Raiders injury report including 2 starting OL, starting RB, 3 starting LBs, and 2 starting DL. Gonna be one of those years, again. As if Pit wasn't tough enough already.

Once again, Carr will have to be amazing to even have a chance.

Go Raiders!

I didn't do the math but it is probably right. That was the last year we went to the playoffs with Eli under center. His QBR was better in 2018, but the Defense has a garbage heap by 2018.

I know Cleveland was worse for a couple years after that photo, (they were a 0 win team in 2017), but they have turned it around and were a damn good team last year. I think we are the only team that has been in the Bottom 5 worst teams for every year since 2017.

Sure has been a rough rebuild over these last 4 years.

RAAAAAAAIIIIIIIDERRRRRRZZZZZZ!!!!!!

Solid f'n win!

:party:banana

Classic game. Great win.

It is a rare sight to see the Raiders make the other great and storied franchise lose their composure. Great poise by the silver and black!

Carr has been molded into Gannon 2.0, but with an arm to throw the deep ball. Gruden has honed his qb's ability to beat the blitz to a very fine edge. DO NOT BLITZ DEREK CARR! Or pay the consequences.

WOOOOO

Rothelesberger: old and he looked it.

Turner: classless, sure hope he's vaccinated. Needs a game or 2 off courtesy of the league.

Watt: great player, but that Watt durability is gonna be an issue.

When Carr went down I feared the Nathan Peterman era was about to begin. :laughing

I was thinking the same thing!

head shot. ankle roll. he overcame some tough play. the Raiders D wasn't letting up on ben either. both got some pretty good bumps out there.

Rapistburger felt it too after Crosby stopped by to say hi.

Refs showed a pretty clear anti-Raiders bias as usual.

Fuck it, Raiders won today without a running game for the most part. :thumbup

You're welcome

The Defense held much better than expected, but gave up a lot on the ground to do it. Surprisingly SF couldn't do shit through the air. I would be worried about less than 200y against a team this bad?
