NFL 2021

First time I’ve ever seen Mahomes have the look of uncertainty on his face. Usually he’s wearing the perpetual “I can conquer the world” shit eating grin.

Apparently the only offensive thing Gruden can manage is his email account.

:laughing

Okay, the Chef's pathetic showing certainly softened the blows from the Raiders pathetic showing.... :laughing

super flat offense. critical penalties and drive-killing dropped passes. Combined with a mess of a gameplan. Why there wasn't more of a short passing attack, or why Waller wasn't involved more is beyond me. All in all a very forgettable offensive day for the Raiders. Chicago's defense is good, I'll concede that, but the Raiders offense is way better than they showed.

I shouldn't enjoy it but did. Also, the guy is pretty full of himself. I remember on Inside the NFLs sideline shots package, he calls out his players by number, "Good job, 22" instead of by their names. To me, it seems like he can't be bothered to know their insignificant names but who knows....I'd probably resent it after a time....

here's why.

So you think the plays were designed by Shanny that way because of the rush? They can't shift someone to block on that side?

I kept getting the feeling that the playbook was very limited on purpose but Lance looked awkward passing because of that alignment (he's right-handed). I was watching a Youtube of his plays and in the few times he went to his right, the passes looked better for accuracy.

And the playbook is pared down even more when half the drives have a 1st and 20 or 1st and 25 in them. Not a lot of variety in the playbook for those kinds of down n distance situations to begin with.

LOL, You guys have to admit, losing your QB, star RB, and #1 WR all in the the first half of the same game is pretty damn impressive by any football standard.

:laughing

I want to agree with you. Unfortunately you’re talking about the NJ Giants. Those three guys are backups on most other squads. :dunno

I mean, before they were just a stinking turd of a football team. That elevated them to turd on fire flying thru the air. Sure it was entertaining and all but still. :dunno

:laughing Before Sunday, Daniel Jones was one of the Top Rated QB's in the NFL this season. Nevertheless, that amount of injury in that short an amount of time is pretty impressive by any standard.

6 of 11 Starters on Offense now out injured, 3 of the depth guys behind them on IR already.

Any of you guys want to play pro ball? I think we're taking walk ons just to get warm bodies at this point.

Gruden's out.

I think it will be good for Vegas. That 10 year trap they were in with him would only end poorly. Dude already seemed to be trapped in a previous era of football that was only going to get more stale. They have a team with potential in an exciting new stadium, next man up could be exciting.

Game has passed him by. Clearly. Just look at his play calling.

I'm not sad. Just disappointed.

Could be good for the Raiders in the long run.

Promote Tom Cable again, all he did was beat the crap out another coach in a meeting....

Per the article I attached, the league was gonna keep leaking stuff.

I think Tom Cable (Raiders), Gus Bradley (Jacksonville) and Rod Marinelli (Detroit) are the only ones on that coaching staff with prior NFL head coaching experience. All with losing records. : |

I mean, Cable was terrible. Part of the problem with Gruden is that he was a legacy for the realm of perpetual losing and never winning anything that was the last run in Oakland. They need to get clear of that shit. Cable is just a call back to the losers of old.

I think you just let Greg Olsen run the team until the end of the Season and find the new guy who will help bring in a new winning identity to the team, you know?

Perfect timing for a fresh start, isn't it?

Rich Bisaccia will be the "Interim HC"...

Really? The special teams guy?

His most saving grace is that he doesn’t walk around swinging his dick while talking shit to AENewman and the rich, nutless twats he calls friends. He’s the anti-Gruden in that regard.
