NFL 2021

The Mack contract will be for 1 year. The extra years are just to spread the signing bonus out and lower his cap number.

He's also know Shanny's offense very, very well.

Good signing for a 1 year guy before the cap goes back up. I would also imagine they're going to draft a couple interior OL guys to coach up for the next few years.

Man with Deshaun it is either a ton of people coming in for a payday or he is really just a scumbag I waiting for the outcome of all this to see what happens. I swear if I was a pro baller I would be wearing a body cam at all times so I could avoid this kind of shit but then again if they really are this bad then maybe it wouldn't be a good idea....

I hadn't even heard of Flacco signing. I thot he was still in contention for backup for Niners. I'll be darned.

I think DeShaun is officially toxic and I think his contract offers are shrinking with every new allegation.

I sure don't want the distraction on my team no matter how great he is. We already lived through Aldon Smith et al.

I have just come to accept that we stick with Jimmy G and spend money developing a rookie choice. The other signings are making our D look good for next year. Getting Bosa back will be great and now we have KWaun.

I saw it on ESPN this morning and came here to look as you guys usually scoop me every time.

Glad to see the Niners will hopefully be a contender next year as long as they can stay healthy.....

Tampa is resigning everyone from last year again so they may be the team to beat this year......

DeShaun has become toxic. He should play for the Texans, if he plays at all........

On another note, the Raiders keep Mariota in a CAP friendly manner. And Belichick wasn't stupid enough to let James White get away.

Kind of depends on what happens in court. If they find out it was a scam to get a big money out of court settlement then he would be a commodity again because he would be vindicated.

If it turns out he is a serial sexual predator then expect jail time and his career is toast.

The Cowboys seem to like ex-cons so maybe he can backup for Dak when he gets out if he is found guilty.........:rofl
 
He has posted starting caliber numbers since being drafted. In a good organization with good coaching he would be a superstar...if he isn't a serial sexual predator.

There is no way any team is going to be able to make him a backup at this point in his career. Zero.

Not as far as I have read but I read that the attorney that filed the civil cases is supposedly giving evidence to the TX attorney general to try and get a criminal case started.

I don't know it really seems like a shakedown due to civil cases filed first then trying to get criminal charges filed. Also, there was some talk from Deshaun about being contacted for a settlement before the civil case filed. Plus all of the allegations seem like they are the exact same but it could be that Deshaun only has one douche move in his repertoire and he just uses it over and over. You would think a guy with that much money would just use a high-end escort service if he was that hard up why go to a massage therapist for that shit just doesn't make sense.

Yeah, you must have read the stuff I was reading, but I also read that there are massage people who have vouched for him not being that way.

I don't know if its as open and shut as never playing again. I just don't want a bunch of distraction. Gawd, between Aldon Smith then having that Antonio Brown escapade in Oakland proved to me how damaging distraction can be to what's a team-based effort.

To me, the Niners are close. I don't wanna mess that up.

Based on what I’ve read, I doubt that the alleged behavior amounts to a crime a normal DA would want to take to court. After all, the women were working in massage parlors. :rolleyes

No, previously he was just getting civil cases for harassment, which means nothing to the NFL. Just in the last couple days it has escalated to accusations of sexual assault, which means there probably is a D.A. somewhere considering criminal charges. None have been filed yet. It is still a question mark.

Now on an upside for the Niners, Aldon Smith is newly available...

So IF you are a sex worker, you have zero chance of getting a conviction if you're sexually assaulted in your place of business. A typical D.A. will not bother wasting resources on a case like that.

Yeah, I’m struggling with the connection as well. I’ve had plenty of massages that didn’t end in anything at all sexual. All performed by massage therapists.
