I am not nearly as high on Mac Jones as Simms is, mostly because I don't think he's gonna be better than Jimmy. Wilson and Lawrence, yes.

Lance and Mond could both potentially be better than Jimmy, but I don't think you mortgage your future for a project QB.

Also this is one of the most ridiculous throws I've ever seen and why I want Wilson.

I had Jones in the #3 for QB as well. My only dig on him is that he basically played behind one of the most massive and powerful o-lines in college football history. Easy to be a good QB when you can host a bbq dinner party including desert before having to get rid of the football.

Lawrence is most definitely pro caliber. The guy can drop it on a dime under duress. Unless something tears his ego to shreds he's going to be just fine in the NFL.

A lot of people are jazzed about that throw, but...That throw isn’t that special, Darnold made the same throw in an actual NFL game for a TD, with defenders in his face.

Not denying Wilson is good but c’mon.

Hopefully with that super human McCaffrey in the backfield and a good receiving core Darnold will do well. I feel bad for Zach Wilson or who ever the jets draft as their next QB.

I get it's the NFL thread but the offseason is kinda up in the air for those to talk about the team(s) they follow. Regular season is similar but since they are competing on the field other teams always get brought into the discussion.

Sadly, Goff won't change that. Team is just too talent poor and wouldn't sign its best receiver.

Darnold may have a chance with proper coaching and some actual NFL players on the team. I feel a little sorry for Bridgewater, but he may get a chance elsewhere. He lost too many close games.

I find the chasing quarterbacks very interesting, because if you have a good quarterback, you have a chance to win in the league. Over 35 years ago a guy named Anson Mount who did the Playboy prognostication at that time stated that it's a quarterback driven league. And he was a very good predictor of division winners.:wow

The Jets will draft an excellent quarterback, but they will still be a long way from being a good team. They also lack talent almost everywhere.: |

And you Giants fans, sorry, but it will be another losing season. Don't let the fanboys on the NFL network let you think they are going to be anything but mediocre. Jones is not the answer at QB...................:x
 
Jared Goff is a downgrade from Stafford.

There is a reason the Lambs gave up a shitload of picks along with Goff to get Stafford. They had to pay to unload Goff's awful contract.

No, of course not. 80% of winning championships is about emotions, leadership, and culture. Winning cultures are what build winners. My point being, as much as the Jets are a long standing train wreck, the Lions have been losers since before the Jets even existed.

You lose for a couple of decades straight, you don't even know how to be a winner anymore. Look at fucking Cleveland, that team has been so stacked with talent for years, seems to be doing all the right things with staff, cannot for the life of them turn into into a winning franchise.

You want to talk about a real doomhound, The Cardinals have not won a Championship since 1947.

How the fuck they will ever be able shake that dog off, I don't even know.
