Plus Size Models

My buddy Steve bought my GS500 from me a few years ago. He was asking about the suspension and I told him I put an R6 shock on, it had cartridge emulators, heavier oil...he goes "no, I mean will it hold a big girl? I'm really into fat girls right now."
:laughing

You go, Steve. :ride

I find girls more attractive when they show me their boobs. Even if they're skinny or just average.

We need to fat shame in order to decrease our healthcare costs

Lets not confuse health with fucked up societal body image.

Women with some size can be sexy, attractive, alluring and fun, or unappealing. It has to do with how they carry themselves, their attitude, and their behavior. Just like women with no plush in their booty who wear Size 2.

Exactly

Agreed, but just because you got:

Does not mean it is shame time.

IMO...

That’s exactly what’s going on now with this “movement” and it’s off-base. The voices that speak up are trying to convince everyone that every woman is attractive. Bullshit. No one should be attempting to change my preferences. It’s not gonna work anyway. So we went from one bad side, fat shaming, to the other side, shaming ppl that don’t agree with the above.

The real problem, what this “movement” should be solving, is that we should not be treating ppl differently because of their physical attributes. But I think that msg is lost at the moment.

Meh, even that is a stupid idea. Attractive people are treated better, they always will be. This is not a problem you can solve, just like violence This is an aspect of nature, not nurture, so you cannot, "teach," people away from it. Nature always finds a way to shine through. You can create systems to help manage chronic abuse of this trait, but it will never go away.

Interesting thread.

There's not much commonality with the women I've been with honestly. All sizes indeed.

For sure

For sure. However, I do not want to pay for someone else’s self inflicted diabetes medication. I stopped drinking soda and changed my lifestyle and lost 40 pounds of fat and am no longer pre diabetic. So I am okay with telling people they can’t drink sodas all day and expect me to pay for their insulin. Same thing with ER costs. Some shmuck shouldn’t expect everyone to foot the bill because they wanted to ride a motorcycle and didn’t have health insurance.

This, exactly. Confidence and comfort in one's own skin is WAY more attractive to me than any one particular body style.

It tracks that seeing someone who looks like you in places that are celebrated (or capitalized upon, which is pretty much the only thing celebrated in our society) can only help boost their confidence. Representation matters.

Also the level of objectification of women in this thread is pretty gross!

People have this thing where it's difficult to imagine a life outside our own and we expect everyone to learn things at the same rate. We learn a new thing on Wednesday and act like the guy who hasn't learned it by Thursday is a total idiot. So it's awesome that you've made some healthy changes, but why can't other people have more time than you needed to figure it out?

Do you wonder why people think you're an asshole, or have you figured it out?

He's not wrong though. I think a lot more can be gained by just emphasizing exercise and better diet, but when you get people who are 300+ pounds being told that they are perfectly healthy and sexy and should just love their bodies instead of trying to change it's not really a good thing. We've gone so far that some women who are that large or larger are acting offended by the fact that a majority of men aren't interested in dating them and saying that is discriminatory.

Who has said that's "perfectly healthy" and "sexy"?

Have you guys ever taken a basic psychology class or read a book on human nature, or actually have any friends who are fat? Because it doesn't seem like it.
