Predictions for Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz in UFC 196?

haven't been up on what Nate's been doing lately but seen some of him a few years ago. Glad to see him win
 
He was going to get knocked out if he stayed standing. Diving and tapping may have been taking the easy out
 
Super dumb on Conor's part. Fight with hands down and you deserve to lose

Did I miss it or was Nick at the fight? Surely he's not banned from just attending ufc events.
Wonder if the haterade is going to flow for McGregor like it did for Rousey.
 
Tonight was a good reminder that you can't be one dimensional in the UFC and expect to last.
 
Diaz was bleeding so profusely I was getting queasy. So gross. And still he won.

Wow bloody fight. Just saw it on YT. Too bad for Holly, I was rooting for her.
I wanted Mcgregor to lose cuz of his big mouth.

i never thought holly was a good mma fighter. shes a boxer and that's it. rhonda has this inflated ego which got her popped by holly. she felt like she could embarrass holly by beating her at her own game and failed. meisha was smart tonight and although i absolutely hate finishes by rear naked choked she fought to get it. connor has always had a weak chin i think if he did less talking and had his hands up a little more he wouldnt have taken so many shots from diaz on the button. diaz on the other hand has an iron chin. that guy takes so many shots and most of his fight looks like hes barely in it but he always pulls off the win. good fights though IMO
 
Why does everyone act like if a fighter loses one mma fight their career is over and they were always garbage? The last mma thread someone was arguing fedor was all hype. This is a sport where no one remains undefeated. Theres a million ways a top level fighter can lose in a blink of an eye. Love him or hate him, mcgregor jumped up 25 lbs with nothing to gain. He did some dumb things in the fight, but he deserves some credit. Hes got balls. No welterweights are going out and fighting heavyweights.

Agreed, Conor jumped up two weight classes in less than three months. Big balls for moving up and trying to fight bigger fighters. I think he did pretty well despite his obvious disadvantage in size and reach, he was picking Nate apart before he got caught with a few good ones. Bottom line is he got too cocky, kept his hands two low, and paid the consequence.

I wonder if he'll get another shot at Dos Anjos at this point, or if he'll be forced to defend his own featherweight title.
