Skyrim

Just as I was thinking the dragon fights are easy I git my ass kicked by an ancient dragon.

Just as I was thinking this game is incredibly reliable, it froze up. After loading a previous save, soon thereafter, I got stuck and couldn't move or put up my fists or jump, just look around.

Nice. They really took away a lot of the reason to go Light Armor this time around. The best sneak armor is Heavy, the best weapons can only be crafted in the Heavy branch of Smithing, and with all the perks Heavy has no drawbacks compared to light.

Ooooh, the bugs I have seen :laughing There is one dragon you're not supposed to beat. Well, I didn't realize that, so after losing bad I went and trained and came back and kicked his butt. Then my character gets stuck 6 feet in the air to the left of the dragon, and the dragon starts spinning headfirst in place. Oh, gee, I guess I wasn't supposed to do that. :laughing

took a potion that increased enchanting power. i have maxed enchanting power skills. created a set of armor to improve weapon/armor improvements (100% increase wearing the armor set).

my smithing is maxed out. took a potion that improves my weapon/armor improvements by 40%.

improved my entire set of light and heavy dragon armor i made, as well as my daedric weapons i made. holy crap. bow sneak attack on a dragon took off 1/3 of his health.

now to get to enchanting 100 so i can put on two enchantments on all my gear.

Biggest draw back with 2plenty handed is stealth players get no sneak bonus. With my dual daggers each one does 15xa damage. A power move with dual daggers is 4 quick hits. With each at 15xthe I am bringing down giants and mammoths with 1 hit.

hm i think i remember getting a 2x bonus with sneak attack using a 2h. not great but its something

2h weapons are just too damn slow for my tastes anyway

what is up with the city where the magic collage is at. i keep getting attacked by dragons in the city. Have the town folk are laying dead in the street. The shop keep is one of them so I am not able to buy or sell her things now lol.

The way I figure it, you just got no business with 2 handed weapons if you are a sneaker, and vice versa. 2H is plenty good in the right play style.

Late game the DPS from single-handed weapons can be insane, but prior to the point where everything is out of whack I gather the pros/cons are even (in a straight up warrior class)

(With all the sword perks and Elemental Fury, you can swing those damn dual swords like a frikkin whirling dervish)

What? It's Monday already? What the fuck happened to the weekend. Last thing I remember I was getting off work Friday night...

So I get killed inside that sancturary thing EVERY TIME I try to get the sap out of the tree.

halp?

This is the Elder Gleam Sanctuary? That was literally a walk in the park for me. All pretty flowers and butterflies. I think that was because I took along a companion that made things easy for me. Never did any kind of combat there.

Hey guys who offers destruction magic training. The expert trainer at the Mage college died During the last Mage college mission.

The court wizard of Windhelm.

It took 67 hours of play for my first crash to happen. The game just straight up locked-up.

Dang I didn't think to craft an entire armor set. I've got a ring, gauntlets, and necklace of smithing for +20% smithing each.

I just hit Level 89 of enchanting last night.

Yeah. I think that companion guy died, I didn't realize he had no way to defend himself so I'm basically screwed now when I try to get the sap from the tree.

Hmm... Elder Gleam was pretty easy. Just a couple of spriggans and some spriggan matriarch. Lydia tanked 'em with glass greatsword while I filled 'em full of arrows. Bummer is the tree hugger npcs were slaughtered. :laughing

I went in there prepped for combat, so the first humanoid I see I loosed an arrow at it and she dropped like a sack of potatoes. Creeped along a little bit more and ran into some dude just chillaxing and he told me to go talk to some chick, Tara or Mara or something like that. Walked up to the one I just dropped, and sure enough it was that chick. Felt so bad I had to reload.

BTW that Elder Gleam Sanctuary is the most beautiful place in Skyrim that I've been to so far. Considering that the console is going on 6 years now, most impressive. Bethesda did a great job with this game, easily Game of the Year for me, and Top 5 of my Games of the Decade.

And I was in that section with the hot springs/hot pools last night, stumbled into this little tent with a lot of clothes and swords laying around on the ground. I was about to start stealing them when I looked around and notice 2 chicks and a dude dressed down to their underwear having a soak in the hot springs. I just busted up laughing. There's dragons and sabrecats and mammoths around them and they're just having a soak in the middle of it all without a care in the world. :laughing

Weird. Like the second I grab the tree sap, the spriggans appear and whoop my ass. I can't run away fast enough to keep them at bay so Lydia can fight em.

I haven't done it yet but could you grab it then use a potion of invisibility and just walk out with ut? If you have to kill them sneak up and do sneak attacks while invisible. For things like that im always stocked up in potions of invisibility and if I need an extra edge I put poison of paralyze so I can get more sneak attack strikes.

Video game hot tub threesome! :party

I went up almost a whole level just by smithing loot and selling it.

I finally decided to buy an Alchemy setup and brew some potions and the chick at Acadia's doesn't have enough gold to buy them from me. Hmm, my most valuable brew boosts two-handed, any chance the Drunken hunter guy would buy it? Or any of the arms/armor oriented merchants?

The hunters bathing in the hot springs was awesome! Best part, they are so mellow they won't even talk to you, they're just chillin.

That's right by where I killed a dragon LOL.

Then the dude back in town didn't have enough $$ to buy the bones and scales :(

Yea everytime I go do an Alchemy binge I literally end up with 20,000 gold worth of potions. I pretty much have to do a tour of the cities between missions to sell all my potions. The only merchants who will buy potions are the alchemists and the general store folks. Get the Speech perk that lets you sell anything to any merchant, makes life a lot easier.

BTW, Blue Butterfly Wings and Blue Mountain Flowers are the best 2-ingredient combo I've found so far. Those potions are valued at 740 at my level. So start grabbing up all the blue butterflies and flowers that you can find.

Between smithing/enchanting and alchemy. Every merchant I visit in the game ends up with 0 gold. :laughing
