100 enchanting finally.

though i would never make another iron dagger after smithing.

nope, CHUCK TESTA!!

iron dagger, enchant, repeat.:nchantr:nchantr

i'd just go to the clothing store in solitude and buy up all the 5 gold boots and gloves and clothing and enchant the crap out of em

the funny thing is I don't even wanna use dwarven armor =\

so anyone know how to transfer pc save file to another pc? i got a new Pc, ran skyrim on ultra setting and ran fine :twofinger.

Now i need to find a way to transfer the save file to the new PC.

Install the game on the new computer. You should have a save file in the Skyrim directory, just transfer that to the new computer's folder.

Didn't get smithing up to 100 last night, but it's up over 80 now and I did another Thieves Guild quest.

This friggin game...

tonight's mission: Dragon Scale Armor
Done. Lydia is now sporting Legendary (or Epic, I forget*) armor, shield, and gauntlets. She's still got an orcish helmet for its archery buff and steel boots for their fire resistance.

* so I guess my ability to upgrade different armor types is affected by the skill chain I selected while leveling up? Some armor types get upgraded to legendary and some to epic.

Pretty sure I'm at 85 now, so tonight should take care of it.

anybody roll with a companion other than Lydia?

No but as soon as shit gets tough I'm picking up that mage in Riften.

I'm kind of loyal to Lydia. This is why...

I sneak down to Uttering Hills cave from the mountain, and shank the lone bandit guarding the cave entrance. I unseak and proceed to loot the camp around the cave entrance, as I'm all alone. Then I hear a bandit saying he's gonna kill me. He must have come out of the cave. I expect Lydia to be AI-path-finding down the mountain so I have to take on the bandit with my dagger. I turn to locate him, just in time to see Lydia running at him full speed with her ebony sword, and she takes one massive swipe for a one-hit kill.

My only gripe about Lydia is that she can't sneak for shit. Makes it hard to sneak up to someone running full tilt at Lydia who is right behind me.

I upped the difficulty to the 2nd hardest...i'm no longer one shotting fools...hahah

alright! got my HD 6970. This thing is HUGE!!! it barely fit!
although i only have 2gb ram and a amd 5000BE running 3ghz. i know my bottleneck is in the mobo, but i wanted to try a new card anyway.
coming from my 8800gt, it is better, yes. but not $400 better. it's hard to gauge though, because if i had a proper mobo/cpu/ram, the video card would be able to perform properly.
i might return it, not sure yet.

its based on your smithing skill. if you choose glass smithing, then you can upgrade any glass armor really well. if not, you can only upgrade it somewhat. etc
