Starbucks again

To my knowledge, I think printed orders are online orders. Or has that already been discussed?

If you walk in, they write your name on the cup.

I’ve been asked if Fred is my real name or just a name I give so nobody else takes my coffee. :laughing

Seriously???

=:laughing

sorry man you brought me some unnecessary happiness

1. I have a large collection of pictures of how they butcher my name on a regular basis. It's fully enjoyable to me. One of my greatest is Parado, Perverto and Burrito.

:laughing

it was briefly mentioned twice but fogget about it

So I'm guessing either someone placed the order online as a joke and this guy picked it up and was like "Yup, they must be talking about me! RACISTS!!"

Or the guy placed the order himself and now he's saying its a controversy?

I don't think Starbucks employees have any interaction with the way online orders are named. It just prints and they make it and put it on the counter for pickup.

Was just in a Starbucks yesterday in Seattle and got a printed label (with the name I gave them) on my drink after ordering at the counter inside the store.

Amazing how a thread about black people being arrested for trespassing was into it's tenth page within hours of it being posted, but a thread about someone being called a beaner, after a few days is barely at three pages.

I'm trying to figure that one out myself. :laughing

*$'s announces open door policy; you can come in and sit without ordering anything.............

another reason not to go to *$'s, like I need another........:thumbdown

Well that blows for Starbucks, no shame with freeloaders.
I can't even stand the mofos at Chipotle who when finished their food will still sit there for 10 minutes while people in the line have no where to sit. Finish your food and move on, its not a fkn bar.
Coffee shops are a bit different. People go there to blow an afternoon and everyone seems to know this but buy a drink and don't be a douschebag.

*$'s isn't really a coffee shop (it may have once been, like 2 decades ago), it's a corporate behemoth that sells over priced swill and an image of community that does what every corporate behemoth does, ruin every community where it takes up business.

Okay Im off to Starbucks to contribute to the community. I'll do my part I will be buying a drink.

Went out for a ride and ran into a couple of dudes out riding also. We BS'd for a bit and went for a ride together. Ended up at a Starbucks where one of the dudes paid for my drink. Motorcycling is cool like that but how did Starbucks become such a regular part of the motorcycling experience.

You both shared caramel macchiatos

Beaners? What the fuck is wrong with people? What on earth would make some Barrista, who might have a degree in Sociology or something, has $150,000 in student loan debt, makes coffee because it pays better than entry level in their chosen field, feel they can say something like that, or even better yet, write it on a cup (or print it) for a customer. Shit, with today's racial climate, you'd have to be completely stupid to do that.
