Stock Thread 2018

I'm looking forward to a meeting with our company's 401k (Voya) rep in mid-March. I brought up to upper management the fees that I posted up a few days ago; they appeared shocked. Made me feel great - (sarcasm) - they seemed to have no clue. They invited me to sit in and bring up my displeasure at the fee structure. I told upper management that perhaps we all could save a lot of money - including the company - by switching to Fidelity, Vanguard, or Schwab.

Anyone in blockchain stocks? They’re pretty low right now. Global Blockchain specifically BLKCF. If the technology, not the currency, is for real and to be adopted, it’s a tech worth investing in.

huh? the internet is people. thankfully, there are many different opinions and angles to be found on any given topic online. it's up to you to research and corroborate what you read on the net. it's up to you to filter the crap and determine what "common sense" is. we're each responsible for who/what we believe in this world.

if anything, it's far more idiotic to walk into an office and blindly place all of one's trust and money with a financial advisor just because he/she looks professional, sounds smart and strikes you as likeable.

the internet is an unbiased tool, not an oracle. for now anyway.

And it looks like my stocks are going to be worth another few K less today, after they went down a few K Friday.

On the bright side my 401k contribution on payday may have more buying power.

Bonkers ride today - crazy swings! Fasten seatbelts and batten down the hatches. Faint of heart should play ostrich for a while.....
