There’s a corner of my heart that is yours. And I

Guess....
... hurts like a motherfucker.

I just had the first session on a black, dollar-sized tattoo in my ribs removed and it was exponentially more painful than getting the tattoo. I could only take twenty seconds of the approximately three minute procedure without a numbing agent. Luckily the doc is a good friend of mine and he injected the area with a buncha lidocaine which worked well for the remainder of the session. Next time I'm prepping with topical lidocaine first.

ffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

Stings like fuck had one removed from my head and face
Long time ago..it’s getting
Time to remove the other 2 from my head

You guys mind if I ask why you had them removed? As someone who only this year got tattoos, I'm curious what made you change your mind later

I got my one and only at a very young age from a friend

Looked like complete shit

It made me realize that I don’t like the permanence of tattoos and so I never got another.

Yea. Way, way worse than getting the actual tattoo.

Chick I know with a really cool back tattoo decided she wanted it removed only about 4 or 5 years after getting it. She tolerated only a small section of removal before deciding to just live with the tattoo. Messed it up though with the now scared section.

sweet babe, ‘what. have. you. done...’

would suggest thinking twice before you get inked. what has been done is not easily undone. nor should it be if you did it wisely in the first place.

pain is your penance.

it seems that no matter what god you pray to, they all demand their pound of flesh.

I watched a friend go through a session of removal and I will not do it. I'll just deal with the consequence of a bad tattoo or a cover up. No regerts !!

What is the method, that they do for the removal?

In the early 90s, I had one session with a laser tattoo removal. Each zap felt like a rubber band snapping against my skin. It did not hurt as much as the installation. :laughing
It was going to cost thousands of dollars. Then I change jobs and lost the big bucks required to complete it. Now I pretty much just don’t care.

How much does it cost? I have a really stupid and really visible tattoo I'd like to get removed. I'm afraid it will be tough as it started as a homemade tattoo, then was expanded, then was redone. So deep ink.

a cover up will be cheaper. Is it a big tattoo? Ive seen amazing things done with cover-ups.

I watched a few videos on tattoo removal from ex-gang members. Most of these guys are getting tats removed from their face and neck. ouch

It's a fucking daffy duck flipping the bird on my forearm. Not huge, but also not easy to cover up unless I go full sleeve. Maybe I could make it some sort of wildlife them with daffy duck in the center, surrounded by native species.....

Yeah, don't laugh at me too hard.
