The Official 2015/2016 NFL Thread

I'd be surprised if Bush has any impact for the 9ers, his best years were quite a while ago....

If the 9ers ever re-institute a screen game he could fit right in and actually tack a few more miles on the tail end of his career. He's lost a half a step at best but is just as shifty as always. Durability is his only question mark.

Cincy might pick up TP, Hue Jackson liked him, OSU alum and all that, he just wouldn't let him wear the #2 jersey.....

I don't see that happening. Theyve already got three QBs signed for training camp. They'll only keep two on the active roster and they need to see a lot of snaps from the kid from Alabama that they drafted in the fifth last year who never took a snap all year due to injury.

:dunno I still say Jason Campbell got a raw deal though.

oh he certainly did. but there's only so many injuries and concussions a player can get before they're left ineffective on the field. I didn't agree with picking Palmer up and Campbell losing his job via injury. But the reality is that it wasn't close to his first injury, and that there were a lot of emotions around the organization, with big Al passing on and the real desperation to win the division.

it's just another example of the NFL chewing players up and spitting them out. an unfortunate part of the game.

tons of players lose their job to injury. Why is it so bad when it happens to a QB?

Is there a better way to yank Dalton's leash? :laughing

So where's our resident Pats fan that was all up in arms three months ago?

:laughing

the report gives no concrete ruling. there will be no punishment handed down for it. it didn't affect the game. Yes, it affects Brady's credibility, and (somewhat) proves he's a good liar. but that's about it.

The whole deflate gate, while interesting, fails to answer the question how the Pats were able to beat the Colts by 38 points. Maybe because the Colts defense was ranked #19 overall and #12 against the pass? But the point it really fails to address is how did they hang 28 points on the #1 defense, both overall and against the pass, two weeks later WITHOUT deflating the ball?:twofinger

Fucking nonsense is nonsense.

And I'm not even a Pats fan

Yeah, this whole thing has really been BLOWN OUT OF PROPORTION!

:teeth

Well according to the bengals website they may bring Pryor in to kick the tires on him so to speak. Doesn't make sense to me, maybe they just want camp bodies. They've already got 4 QBs signed now.
