... and just so you aren't tooooo butthurt, here's my projection....
Chafed...not hurt.
Besides you're overall prediction is only different from mine by two games.
I'll be the first to admit that mine is optimistic. Not by much though.

I think people are severely overestimating the "damage" the departures have had while at the same time underestimating the amount of effort Tomsula and his staff are going to get out of the players. Some of the pics could turn out to be losses but I see them picking up wins elsewhere if that's the case.
The litmus will be the first four games. It will also determine whether or not the players continue to believe in the new coaching regime's (and possibly the FO's?) message.
I have been inclined to agree with you about overreacting to the damage from staffing changes. This team is clearly not as good as it was last year, but it also grossly underperformed last year. If they rise up to their reduced potential, I still think 9-7 is probably more realistic for them as a best case scenario.
Glad you are so optimistic though! This season is going to be ugly.I don't know if I'm ready to go there. For me there are some question marks. That doesn't mean they aren't as good it just means it still needs to be put to the true test.
Getting rid of Roman is good for at least another 21 total points on offense in my estimation.
Yeah, brah, you're pipe smoking. I mean, like I said, I'm not ready to proclaim the wheels have fallen off, but the talent drain was HUGE and has not been replaced. Most of the guys who are filling in for the lost talent were already depth guys last year so that is still a net loss of talent.

he may be right tho, 21 point extra for the whole season isn't unfounded...especially since they're going to play a lot of games where it's over by halftime, and Kaep's just going to throw it up against prevent defenses.![]()

You remind me of me in '04 when I was on here talking about, "OF COURSE THE GIANTS WILL WIN THE SUPERBOWL THIS YEAR," after a 4-12 season in '03.

I guess you missed the part where I said people are over-emphasizing the losses and under-estimating Tomsula and his coaching staff.

The bills are really putting together a gruesome Defense. Too bad they don't have a QB.
Im a niners fan, but 6-10 would be a good season at this point.
