We're deep into the season. The good teams have pretty much separated themselves from the bad ones. We also have a couple of teams that usually fade after having solid starts. So who's going to win the divisions, the wild card spots, the conferences, and the Superb Owl?
AFC Divisional Winners
E - NE
N - Pitt
S - Jax
W - KC
WC - Tenn, Buff
AFC South is a toss up for me. I picked Jax because their schedule looks a tad easier to me with maybe 2 more losses (Sea, Tenn) and Tenn looks like they may end up with 3 more L's (Pitt, LA, Jax). I got Buff in as the other wild card because their schedule has about 4 more wins which is what I've got for Balt as well but Buff has a better record so far so they win the edge.
Neither of the WC will survive the first round of the playoffs though. KC could win out and end up #1 in the AFC but only if (and I'm going strictly off W/L here) both NE and Pitt drop two more games. Either that or a three way tie with KC over NE and NE over Pitt. So Pitt ends up playing NE again and Jax going to KC.
AFCCG - Pitt at KC with KC moving on to the SB
NFC Divisional Winners
E - Iggles
N - Lions
S - NOLA
W - LA
WC - Vikes, Carolina
Things in the NFC are much less settled. There are a handful of teams sitting around 5-4 some of which are going to end up going 8-8 (Dal and GB) with at least one going 9-7 (Atl). This weekend should bring more clarity with Sea/Atl, LA/Vikes, and Lions/Chi.
If the Vikes play anyone but the Lions they are done and so will Carolina because Cam will be back on his emotional roller coaster when facing the cream of the NFC. Most like neither makes it past WC weekend.
NFCCG - LA at Iggles making it an Iggles/KC SB.
Iggles become a beer capable of leaving a ring on the table.
