The Official 2017/2018 NFL Thread

Well all anybody wants to talk about is the 4th down spot and the index card.

Nobody was saying shit about it on the sideline but it's a hell of a talking point for the MMQB.

I would ask "You've got to be shitting me?!?" with maximum incredulity...but it's Raiders fans...par for the course. :dunno

Whos game ending turnover was worse... Steelers or Raiders?

Carr's. The Steelers already have a spot sewn up in the real season. The Raiders could not afford to lose one and to Dallas to boot. :barf

At least the Iggles got another W. Foles may take them to the promised land yet.

I can't beat the Refs AND the SHitbirds, even if Eli has a 400 Yard day.

He's no Jimmy G, but they're gonna have to roll with what they've got. :teeth

Nothing ever goes in the Raiders favor. If they were playing NE they would’ve ended the game then and there.

That missed interception worked out pretty well, as did the spot placement of that blatant interference call. Their defense stopping that last would-be touchdown, which might have actually been a touchdown if you could see in there, that also worked out pretty well. They shot themselves in the foot at the half with stupid gambles and no ability to stop the clock. I don't like conservative football, but they were downright greedy at the end of the first half.

Not gonna fault Carr too much... but it was a winnable game. :laughing (No problem rolling with him.)

How bout the thumping the Rams gave Seattle... IN SEATTLE!!! I think the "Legion of Boom" has played out, and many of them will moving on to other teams or out of football. The question is does Carroll keep his job?

From 12th Man to what, 12 men?

I like Del Rio, I like Carr, I like so much of the now Raiders, except the move. I want them to succeed but am just confused by their continuing woes. It feels like such a different team, yet the big disappoint has returned. I think Carr is more hurt or affected by injury than we know.

At least we have two BA teams that we can root for, that have a chance. Real happy with Niners turnaround. No, you don't have to win a Super Bowl every year with "class." Just field a competitive team, showcase your skill players and have a fighting chance and this fan is satisfied to watch.

I don't think Seattle is that dire and done. They still are a mighty franchise and I don't think Carroll is going anywhere under this owner. My only qualm is that they are penalty-prone and really push the envelope regarding dirty play. I kind of think they are a head-hunting team, frankly, especially that damn Bennett. I always wonder if there are "beans to be spilled" regarding meetings and coaching techniques making rah-rah Carroll more villanous than his image. I don't trust that guy at all. (mandatory disclaimer that, yes, it's NFL football and what do I expect).

They were talking about the emotional toll Carr experiences. Loses sleep and all sorts of other symptoms.

If you look at him at times it looks like he is shell shocked.

After what happened to his brother I would not be surprised if we never see another Carr play football. :laughing

I feel for the guy. I have to keep reminding myself that he broke his back this year and is still playing.

I almost cried stepping on a lego.

That was the other game I was monitoring yesterday. Shocking in a good way. Loved it. Couldn't have happened to a better team or fan-base. Would love to see them miss the playoffs.

What about all the crap that was tossed at Cowboys yesterday down in the BlackHole? I haven't seen that in a while.

I sure hope he is able to find some balance. Above all else I think the game has to remain fun to play at that level. If it isn't then it's just a miserable meat grinder.

I didn't see one snap of that game. Watcha talkin bout willis.

4th Quarter Ath down pass to Evan Ingram in the End Zone. Linebacker was going full WWF on him, Refs didn't call shit. That would have been the game.

That....is....totally....effed up. :laughing

In case anybody else needed to know, it was San Diego. :laughing

Before that is was the Niners in December 13th, 2015.
