the PoliSink Returns

The plan is to reopen Political Talk 2.0 on December 17th. The exact time will be based on my ability to break away from my real life and populate the access list.

I want to open it up for everyone at the same time not just 2-3 people as my life allows.
Excellent; I didn't say "count me in" but please do.

People who have ideas that are put down by a majority always scream that they are in an "echo chamber" of the opposing viewpoints. I say bullshit.

Maybe, as I said, your ideas are that bad, or you are bringing them to the wrong place and you just don't have like-minded support there (or your like minded folks decided to keep silent)

Bay Area riders will likely lean a certain way given the larger political demographics, certain ideas will likely be unpopular to a majority of average bay area people, where maybe on a gun forum in texas, they would be cheered in that "echo chamber"

Know your audience and be prepared for vocal thumbs down from 100% of respondents. Deal with it or STFU.
1A and all that
This.

suggest; take the approach of 2 visible levels of accessibility into PoliSink
Viewing levels open to everybody; level 2 posting eligibility derived from participant posting

Level two; requires showing measure of manners, maturity, respect

Will the previous threads be restored? Apologies if it was mentioned and I didn't catch it.

agree with this 100%. interesting though, that an emboldened majority in the broader sense protests when they meet stiff resistance in a minority setting (that they actively chose to engage in). ‘something, something… can dish it out, but can’t take it.’ ‘bullshit’ is putting it kindly. very kindly.

Some yes. Not all. I chose the one that were active and historical. One’s that did not have a post in awhile no.
Thankless work. Thank you Dennis. Also requesting a donation from participants is more than fair.
Not finding the donate link :facepalm

BARF could be a 501c3 where all donations are tax deductible, it already exists to serve a charitable purpose of advancing motorcycle safety and membership among the general public.
