Walking Dead season 5

I thought it was much more than filler...

really showed the state of the group... and it was awesome to see them come together to hold that door closed... although I think that was a bit odd

the guy that shows up at the end.... whats his story? good? bad?
 
Liked it. Really emphasized the point that it's about the people, not the zombies anymore.

I liked the juke to get zombies to fall down the hill.

Sasha is gonna be next though, or get someone else killed.

Anyone wonder if Abraham is going to start getting sick since he got slashed with zombie blood knife?

But really, a tornado rolled right by their rickety barn but didn't blow it down or tear off the roof, but knocked down trees? :bs

Abraham will be fine as long as he doesnt get an infection... they already have the virus in them.

It will be interesting. Always hard to say how fast they will move in the tv show though.

Between Aaron showing up and some hints from next weeks preview, seems like they are jumping right in to the next big storylines.
 
that part where they all kept the door shut seemed more like a dream sequence to me. no way the walkers just stop trying to get in! they just woke up all calm and shit. only sasha and Maggie get up to check the perimeter?

sasha needs to be put in check! if she goes that would suck, but, if she gets someone else killed and then doesn't die right away, that would be even worse. i feel like the latter is likely what will happen though:(

as for the clean as fuck douche canoe that surprised Maggie and sasha, well, he needs to die right now! of course they won't just kill him though:wtf it would seem obvious to me at this point that there are others out there that should not be trusted, AT ALL! he is one of them. makes it ever more creepy that he knows ricks name. kinda obvious that he was the one who left the water as well.

1. He is the cleanest person they have seen in a loooonnng time. Means he has lots of resources at his base of operations... like the Gov

2. He knows Rick somehow? Or knows of him? Who told him about Rick? Morgan perhaps?

Why would he approach the group alone and unarmed if he meant to harm them?

Also remember that Rick's group is dying basically and has very little. There is nothing to gain from them besides a fight. Maybe a few guns...

As for knowing Rick's name. Assuming he left the water, he had seen they needed water, and managed to leave it in front of them.

We have seen the "Termites" do the same. They were friendly, but in reality they wanted their supplies, even if they were limited and to eat them for lunch.

In the state of the world... anything related to survival is valuable. Even if its just a few guns or ammo...

I dunno... Im skeptical. Where did all the water come from, that was a lot for one guy to be carrying around. He has to have a vehicle of some sort.

Of course they should be skeptical. You are right that everything has value. Even a group of people could be of value depending on what you were trying to do.

Yeah, the juke was a good move. I dunno about abraham getting sick but I was wondering who does his hair. No way is that red natural.

I must have missed the Abraham knife wound. When did that happen?

I doubt it is hilltop. I do bet the Saviours make an appearance soon though.
 
the knife wound was done by sasha during the juking at the bridge. when they all acknowledged, at the same time, that she just fucked off their plan. she overswung and only managed to cut a walkers throat before hitting abe in the arm:thumbdown

and the clean guy just creeps me out. also, no way is he out there by himself and is that clean. he's got peeps in the area somewhere close.

who the saviours?<<<nevermind, just read the wiki...i hope i can resist doin that in the future:laughing

can you boil alcohol for drinking water... they said all they found was alcohol in those cars, so why not just boil it to remove the alcohol...

Not sure, but my feeling is that you would have to set up something like a mini-still--like when people boil salt water to extract fresh--and it would require staying in one place for quite a while to extract a relatively small amount of potable water. A liter of 100 proof spirits is 50 percent alcohol so you would at most get 500ml from it, and who knows how long that would take. They are on the move and it wouldn't be viable.

My question after seeing this episode is: How do walkers get water? I haven't thought a whole lot about how they function but wouldn't they dry out really quickly, assuming they didn't have fresh corpses to feed on?

They are implying that the older walkers are slow and feeble whereas a fresh walker is quicker because the body has recently turned.
