I actually liked Noah. Not at first. Was kinda annoying. Then he got a little better. Last night they kept saying what a great shot he was and seemed interested in the architecture stuff which seemed really interesting, but in the end he lost face.

I have been thinking about Alexandria's walls and the outside braces.

I'm no architect but have been plenty of castles with the base extends out.

I wonder how this plays with future threats but that wall is hardly human proof.

I still barely understand how the Governor suckered his people to do a frontal assault. I would just hide behind the tank.

Dad won't make it, mom becomes Rick's new lover, Coral gets a little brother, Carol kills the dad. Maggie rats out preacher, preacher whines like a little bitch but hasn't really done anything violent so Rick shakes his head and keeps him around, politician lady sides with Rick once captain brass ones comes back - she'll want to save her own skin and something tells me she'll do the whole "I didn't like him but he WAS my son" thing. Brass ones becomes new Sheriff, Rick becomes new mayor, town gets a rough wakeup.
 
Rick: "Coral, Coral, you have a new brother..."

Coral: "I hate you dad!" *runs off with sister*

and 9 months later Coral gets yet a new sibling he never knows about.

I am only a little bummed they got rid of Noah. He was pretty damn expendable though. They haven't done shit with his character at all. I wish they had at least let him hang around enough to do something important. It sucked that Glen had to watch him get ripped apart but his only real story tie in was to Beth and they already shot her face off. After that he has no intrinsic value to the group and they didn't bother giving him one. His whole family was dead in Richmond and he has barely been in the episodes since.

In regards to the comic the show is breezing through things that took longer to develop. The group is getting more and more positions of power. Construction guy willingly gave up the role though and at least saw he was better fit for the job.

Did anyone notice the sign at the construction site that said "big things are coming"?

I knew Noah was gone the moment he "wanted to learn". :(

Glenn watching him die definitely will evolve him a bit to take over the raiding parties.

Abraham pulling the mace out, and having it break on the first swing was hilarious, I'm calling movie-mess-up on that one. The single stick with chain did way too much damage consecutively.

I still think Carol has overplayed her hand with this kid. Stealing twice the chocolate now? I also think she might be afraid of getting to close to him as she did with the girls, turning them into killers without a clue.

More and more, it's pretty obvious that Alexandria is clueless. 8 weeks to expand the fence, twice that before? Spray and pray style shooting? Armored zombie defense?


My prediction though is that governess will get scared that she has given up too much power to the new group now that preacher has spread the "word" to her. Start a smear campaign and turn the town slowly against them. People will abandon the town fearing the takeover leaving Rick and the group to defend it against the attack coming in the last 5 minutes of the last episode of the season.

I think they should build another wall as a mirror image to the one they have now, with the support beams coming in towards the camp. This gives a decent buffer zone, makes the 1st wall less easily climbable by humans, and is just a straight up 2nd line of defense. It can then be expanded to have guard posts and the likes around the perimeter.
 
just caught up again...the most horrific part has been watching this on AMC streaming. why? "It's not about huggin trees...it's not about being wasteful either. it's about finding that balance..." They run the same 3 commercials through, that you can't skip, and repeat them at least twice per break. good lord I'll never buy a lincoln just because of this torture they put me through.
