Wine Country Ablaze

Still waiting to learn about my moms house. Right off Mark west springs rd near Ursuline rd. She lost my dad in August, so this would be another big blow. Hoping for the best.
 
If anyone who has lost their home, and you need to talk to someone who understands what you have gone through, send me a pm. I have been through this. I am willing to coach you through this. I have limited email cause our internet is down due to the fire. I will be checking.

Things like this, even though I am an Atheist, Looters deserve some 'Special Attention", being punished for eternity after I have had my way seems rather attractive....

Wow!! Denise, you are one of the most self less persons I know. It seems like that fire was yesterday.
 
My wife's stepmom is fearing the worst (her Dad's house).

They have friends already with them when their home was lost... and they had to leave many animals behind.. :(
I assume they cut the horses loose to fend for themselves before bolting.

Hoping for the best for you all in danger.

I am at the evacuation center in San Rafael. They say they are ok for today and tonight with respect to donations but can use phone chargers and volunteers.

They will update tomorrow for items needed for remaining evacuees.
 
It's time for another not so random act of kindness by the barf family.
I think this weekend there will be a solid outline of what we can do to provide targeted effective help.

Also hoping that everyone thinks this is a stupid post but,

IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA DO NOT FLY YOUR DRONE. AERIAL RESCUE CREWS CANNOT FLY IF THERE IS A UAV PRESENT.

Your need to collect rad fire footage can cost people their lives.
 
Sonoma Sheriff confirms at least 7 dead right now because of the fire.
 
The next few days are going to be really heartbreaking.
 
Please, if you do not have essential business north of Petaluma, please do not come. The people here in need and those helping them appreciate your understanding.
