That picture is about 5 years old, my Custom II is pretty beat-up looking too, probably more so than yours because of all the holster wear.

I love the hell out of mine, it's my favorite. I bought it for myself after I graduated Basic in 1996, so it's almost 9 years old. Still have not sharpened it, used to accidentally cut myself every other day with the damn thing.

:laughing

I second that. That's the Applegate-Fairbairn double edge knife.

I got my scores from the high-power match :(

I averaged 8.5 points per shot for both slow-fire stages, standing and prone. For the 8 shots I got off during each of the rapid-fire sitting and prone, I averaged 7.4 and 8 points per shot. Which means I could have gotten at least 410 points if my rifle wasn't malfunctioning :cry

I got beat by a girl!!! :cry

We need more people to come down! There were only 3 shooters per relay during the afternoon match, so there's plenty of space. And it'll be a grudge match this time!! I'm going to win my class!

I need a rifle first. The wife is still recovering from the amount I spent on the kimber :teeth . I need something I can use for deer hunting, though. I was looking at 7mm semi's.

You can use the M1a (.308) and M1 Garand (.30-06) for hunting. The M1a even comes with 5 round magazines for hunting!

Don't get a semi. You loose so much velocity to work the action. Get a Remmington 700 in a 7mm Win-mag. Awesome rifle. When I get my new toy :teeth I'll let you shoot my 30-06. It makes a big bang. :laughing

Shotline- Get you camera and get me some pics, so I will hurry up and leave this state. I want to see what gunshows used to look like. And it's suppose to be Idaho's oldest and largest.

I think Browning makes the BAR in 7mm. But I'm not sure about that. Personally I would get a .270 or .308 for anything in North America but elk and maybe black bear. .308 is pretty cheap, accurate and widely available and .270 is a good flat shooting round that won't kill your shoulder.

There in lies the problem, I also have a score to settle with some elk.... :mad
