I got some of that foaming copper remover. The one I used was made by Gunslick but I think they are all just the same. Squirted it into the barrel and left it for about fifteen minutes and then gave it a good scrubbing with the brush and finished with some tetra. Really shined up one of my pretty darned fouled barrels. I use Sweets every once in a while but you have to be careful with that stuff.

Yeah, I think we (bill, jas, al) all had our share of beef jerkey this past weekend. So many more compared to the Gun Palace jerky show. Only one booth selling jewry though.

Oh that reminds me, Ritch how's that ankle bracelet fititng ya??

Yea, I was really disappointed with the prices I saw. Cool guns and availability aside, it wasn't much of an improvement over Bay Area shows.
 
Congrats, Shotline! I have to renew my Utah permit in July; $10 and I'll have it for another 5 years, and it's good in Ida-Ho!


But for now, I'm just waiting till Friday at 2:00 to add the Glock 19 to my pile!

Nice collection Zefflyn. I'll just assume you will be getting a Kimber. :twofinger I like the blue GP100. I have a stainless just like it, but I want a blue without the full underlug.

I agree with you about the 6" half-lug, those are nice looking guns.
BUT - when I'm shooting full-power .357 mag rounds, I like having the 6" barrel with full lug. Even the 627 with it's weird square barrel kicks harder than the GP100, and the Python kicks the most. But then, the Python's underlug is hollow, and since it is mostly for my wife to plink with, it's fine with .38 specials.

i only paid 599 for my kimber custom2, put trijicon sights on it, gunner grips and a magwell, and now its a perfect gun.
 
of you can pay 1400 and buy a sig sauer gsr, which is their top of the line, also a 1911,
