Ooo, I like the Custom II. Good thing I have to wait 25 more days before I can buy another gun, or my bank account would take a pounding!

Hey sohijiro, when we going shooting? You have one of those tiny little S&W revolvers, right? I want to try that out, too.

Wheelguns are sweet. I have three and will probably ad a couple more.

Sig Pro's are sweet as well. A buddy of mine has one in nine and it shoots easily as well as my P229.

Wild Sports in Orangevale has been advertising the Kimber Custom II for $599. I've been tempted to get one.

Zefflyn- I am a bit shocked that you are complaining about recoil from the .357. You need to get a .44. :p

in that case you want a 45 Long Colt...real cowboys carried single actions :)

Is Orangevale over on the far side of Sac? That's kinda far..

But, I wasn't complaining about the recoil, it's just that when I shoot, I bring cases of ammo, and after a while, it's easy to tell which gun is whipping the most from recoil...

:thumbup Mine shoots .45lc and .45acp, though it is more accurate with the lc.

If you can get the ad from the Sac Bee on Thursdays Traders will usually match the price.

I'm actually a rifle recoil wuss. I can do about forty rounds of the .270 or about 20 out of the M44 before I start to whimper. :teeth

My Super Redhawk is actually a pussycat to shoot it is so heavy, even with +p+ rounds. My friends ported 629 is absolutely miserable to shoot, the shape of the grip and the porting slamming it straight back hurt the hell out of your palm. After one cylinder I gave it back to him and told him I'd never shoot it again. :x

Hey, good tip, I'll have to start checking the Sac Bee. They have some good editorials, too.

I borrowed a friend's Super Redhawk once, and like you said, it was a sweet shooter. I was like, "What's all the fuss about the .44 Mag? This is sweet!"

I'd like to get one of the Ruger Bisley Vaquero's - that grip fits my hand better than the standard grip.

You guys all need to move to Nevada...this is a local flyer I just got from the corner store. :teeth

You have to love a state where you can RENT a flamethrower :laughing

hell at burning man, people will let you play with their flame thrower for free :)

Took the P22 out last night. Put about 200 rounds through it and one failure to extract. I was using CCI mini mags.

Anyhow, fun and easy gun to shoot. Had a couple of people ask what it was. :)

wild sports is a pretty cool store, my dad lives up there, and im going up to sac this weekend. we also get the sac bee, so ill look for the newspaper and give it to you if you are interested in that custom 2

www.gilbertsguns.com has them for 599 also, thats where i got mine, plus NO SALES TAX!

So, I think I've finally narrowed it down. I know earlier I was considering a 9mm because of ammo cost, but what the hell: Glock 21.

New, they seem to be priced in the low/mid 500s.

What about used? Scorp, you said something about used guns on the gun boards... what are these going for, used?
