I've got one of these I've been real happy with. Glock mags? check. AR platform interchangeability? check. Fun as heck with a laser strapped to the front? check.

yep hahaha. but i think the ones that roman posted are rhinos. designed by the same company but not the one that togusa used. im a GITS geek too (i have motoko kusanagi tattooed on my side) and that gun was always the holy grail for me. to me, the mateba was the best metaphor for togusa. the endearing and reliable nature of vintage and outdated things manifested in an object responsible for defending one's life. its almost poetic in a way.
 
I won't de rail the thread but the entire story is one of the smartest and most meaningful I've encountered.

On dog my customers has a Mateba. He brought it in to show me. It is a truly beautiful piece of machinery.

I'd suggest a newbie "Teach a BARFer to shoot" social gathering, but most of you fuckers can't even make a friendly range meetup anyway so I doubt an organized event would be any different. Well, except Roman - as long as I'm willing to drive to where he wants to shoot. He's always down for some aroma therapy, he just lives too damn far from me :mad
