You can buy a duracoat kit that comes with the template to do the digital pattern. Check out http://www.houtsenterprises.net/dur_patterns.html. It's about $100 for the paint w/the template.

So all you need is the upper and magazine? No special buffer or anything? Hmmm, I have a lower just sitting in the safe that this would be great for.

u got it buddy! brick of 550 rounds of .22lr $14.77 @ Walmart. Box of 20 5.56 @ 7.77. The math is easy to do I can shoot or watch people shoot. I choose to shoot

My plan for a .22lr AR is going to be a Vietnam era slick side. NoDak Spud has some cool uppers and lowers. I'm going to use a Model 1 20" .22lr barrel and bolt. The only thing I'm having a hard time tracking down is decent pre-A1 furniture.
