BARF Militia

such a huge gun.....for a small caliber.....

:p

:laughing ahha indeed it does...but just wait till you shoot it and you'll feel...."dinky" :p :laughing

ahaha the guy next to you shooting his .38 would seem like he's holding a magnum :teeth

I'm debating on what I *really* want to purchase next. I'd like to get better with my 9mm so a .22 seems like a good idea:
1) Buy a .22 - Ruger MK III is in the lead after shooting it over the weekend - least expensive option
2) Buy a 1911 .45 and a .22 conversion. Cool but $$$. I'd probably get the Taurus 1911 based on price...

But I really want a shotgun despite it being impractical and of no help to my marksmanship. I figure this shotty would help my zombie defense :laughing
3) Rem 870
4) Winchester 1300
5) Moss 500/590

This is a fun problem to have - any way I go, I win! :teeth

Another thing - there's no 30-day limit thing on shotguns, so you can buy one at any time!!

Not just in theory, my man. You could buy a shotgun, Mk III, and a rifle at the same time, and then go shoot 3-gun competitions in 10 days!

In addition, you can DROS multiple firearms at the same time on the same DROS*, so you only need to pay 1 DROS fee if you buy a bunch of guns at once! It's a cost-saving measure!

* but only one handgun per DROS. But that's only if you want to buy a bunch of used handguns at once, since new are on the 30-day limit but used/consignment/PPT are not.

Uhmeebs: Here's another reason to get a Buckmark. :drool

:teeth sounds good...!

so when i buy my pistol, i'll probably pick up a 870 or my long but overdue...M1A...depends if i killed all my money or not during summer :teeth

how do you make teh GSG-5 legal?

have the dealer make sure the mag only excepts 10 rnds?

:teeth you got me hooked on it Chi!

ahaha i usually like firearms with a kick but damn...that GSG is pure sexy :p

+ how do you make the mag only take 10 rnds?

If you order one from DD's Ranch or Atlantic, you will get a modified 10 round mag. GSG is ramping up to have 10 rounders available for sale this month. What's cool about this rifle is many airsoft parts fit it, so you can do a lot to modify it. :thumbup

Buy it Mike. This thing is WAY cooler than an M1A. Plus you'll be able to afford to shoot it more than twice a year because 500 rounds of .22lr costs $10 where 500 rounds of .308 costs $270.

ive been looking at it....good for plinking but damn..i want some recoil :p

ahaha + i already got some MP5 parts...(mag clampn, CLAW mount, and red dot :blush)

and yeah...that GSG looks like a cheap fun plinker compared to the M1A....+ i can bring it to the local range and shoot indoors at Target Masters :teeth

any links to the places that sell it with the 10 rounder?

If you want recoil i bet there are plenty of people that woul want to punch you forfree.

Look at it this way. You've got an R6. That's the .22lr of the motorcycle world that everyone starts off with. You hone your skills on something you don't mind trashing. Then you move up to the Hayabusa which is exactly like the M1A. Grossly overpriced, heavy, and hard to wield when it comes time to throw down. :laughing

Anyone have any experiance with the walther P22, I'm just curious if there is another besides the ruger mk III thats a good 22 caliper. Or I was thinking about the "advantage arms" 22 lr conversion for my glock. Any other suggestions.

I really enjoy my P22, but other people have had some issues with them. They're not going to win any quality contests, but they are fine. Mine will choke on bulk ammo, from time to time, but not so much with hotter rounds.

One thing about the P22 is that they are pretty small. If you have large(r) hands, you may find it uncomfortable or not easy to get a good grip.

:laughing ahaha dont hate on the R6 and Busaaa...!!! :p
