If you own a Ruger Mk II, III or Buckmark, then you NEED this speedloader.

OMG, this IS the next best thing since sliced bread. The Ultimate Cliploader will load my Mk III mags in less than a second. No more sore thumbs!!! It's awesome. I bought mine from Cheaper Than Dirt for $24.97.

Here's a vid of it in action.

Holy crap - that IS cool!

I love my uplula but this is way cooler...

My next purchase is a Buckmark - only 3 more weeks of waiting :(

Sounds like the Kimber rep you spoke to did the good customer service thing when they talked to you, answering your questions as helpfully as they could and all, and then did the pro-active manufacturer thing, chewing out the dealer for not giving better customer service by keeping you informed of the status of your order.

But then the dealer crapped his pants and took it out on you. :laughing He should have just explained how you calling Kimber affected his relationship with the mfg.

This particular guy is actually known to be a dickhead towards random customers. I actually read in several places online about him. I think he totally overreacted and it was extremely unprofessional for him to basically threaten me of cancelling my order. I mean, shit, I know Kimbers are hard to come by and all, but this is like that fucking Seinfeld Soup Guy "No soup for you!" and throwing the money back at me. Because of this guys reputation I could make his life just a bit harder by talking shit myself. But I'm not gonna do that just yet, I'll just see how it all turns out.

So I understand it was bad etiquette on my part, I will own up to that, although I really had no knowledge of that being the case. I'm not going to expect an apology from him but I'm also not gonna put up with any disrespect back at me even after I explained my non malicious intentions.

Dude, I wouldn't stress about it. He's not going to cancel your order. Just go pick it up when it comes in and go on with life. If he's really that big of a prick don't go back afterward. I've left about three shops that I'll never return to because they were jerks and there are plenty of other places to buy. That said, if a place is cool I'll drive a long way to do a deal there and give repeated business. I'll give my business to those who want it.

Obviously dude was pissed and tells me he's got half a mind to return my money and cancel the order.
Take the money and buy a better gun from somebody with better customer service. Capitalism rules.

That's one of the unfortunate things about gun dealers -- in pretty much every other sales industry, the sellers all put effort into customer service, but among gun dealers, you're just as likely to find pricks as professionals.

Next time you want a Kimber, hit up Irvington Arms in Fremont.

... if that wasn't where this happened, of course. :laughing

I couldn't get that SpeedClipLoader for the Ruger MK fast enough. It's so easy to clip reload now. Within a few seconds loads in ten rounds. The last round kinda hangs weirdly, so pulling the knob on the side of the clip and bang on the table once straightens everything.

There's a screw on the side that pushes the mag button down. Un-screw it about a turn or two and it'll work perfect everytime. :thumbup

Personally, I'd cancel the order, and tell Kimber how he handled it after the fact.

It sounds like there is a serious need for a customer service readjustment from the manufacturer to the dealer to you.

That whole experience sounds terrible.

That is what I would do. :thumbup Fuck That Guy :thumbdown

Money is one thing, bad customer service is another. I'd do a quick call around on price and if someone is even remotely close in price, i'd cancel and get it somewhere else. I'd also tell the owner why i'll be taking my multitude of future purchases somewhere else. Mistake on your part or not, no customer should ever be threatened or treated in that manner. I've already crossed 2 dealers off my list who will never seen any (more) of my cash. Only problem is i've added several others who will...:p

Name of shop would be appreciated, here or PM.

I'd get the firearm at the great deal, then snitch the guy out to Kimber and mangement. Why lose out on a good deal, "Don't fuck me, Fuck you!!" my :2cents

or get the refund, snitch dude out and play the sympathy card with the mfg about how you will have to pay more now for it. Who knows maybe they will get you a better deal just so they don't lose you as a customer :devil

Thanks to Ratters and that stupid Kimber Custom he has in the safe that he refuses to actually shoot I've been poking around the web looking for a potential next purchase.

I can't blame Ratters for my desire for a 1911...I blame Jakemate. :|

Psst - hay Erik! I'm sure you've seen this and Sac is only an hour away for you...

On a separate note, I came across this on CalGuns and think it's funny. But not *that* funny since I did it when I was a gun noob... :laughing

Well the dealer just called me yesterday that the gun is in. Noone gave me any indication when I spoke to them a few days ago that it was on the way. I'm happy that it's in now, and I just started the DROS, but I got a feeling maybe my calls to them might have pushed Kimber to get it out to me a little quicker. And if that's what the got the dealer in trouble then so be it. I don't like not knowing when my goods are coming in when I've put so much money down on it already. So when I walked into the store yesterday I just avoided the guy that had went off on me and dealt with someone else. I'll give them a complete evaluation after I get the gun, and then I will let you know which dealer it was.

Actually, it's funny because HK did that in an official publication.

I was wondering, I was at the Cow Palace gun show last weekend, and saw multiple people carrying pistols out in the open for everyone to see. Mostly customers just browsing around. One guy had the whole cowboy thing going on with 2 6in barreled revolvers on his hip, and bare naked ammo placed all around the belt, chaps, spurs, the whole works. Were these people breaking any laws? I doubt they all had CCW's. Or they must gotten them up in the North Country of Shasta or something. Oh and did anyone see the asian dude in the little pink dress looking like Alice in Wonderland?
