Nope - I find TAD very over priced. Try $75 more for that ZT if I bought it at TAD (I just used their pics). I got the same blade without the TAD etching for just over $220

I did just buy a new Benchmade tonight :teeth

OK guys, gonna be meeting with some people at Chabot on Saturday the 24th around 10am to 1 or so. If there's something you're dying to try let me know and if I have it I'll bring it.

TAD certainly has awesome gear - no doubt about that! In fact, I can't think of another place in the Bay Area that carries similar high quality gear...

I picked up the Benchmade at Stevens Creek Surplus - 15% off all weekend so I was able to pick it up for less than the interweb. ;)

Anyone else shooting in the Tactical Pistol match at Chabot this Saturday? It would be fun to have some BARFERS there...
 
I think I'll be at the AMA races at Sears Point this Saturday.

Next Sat is the high-power shoot though, so I'll meet up with Ratters' crew first and then head to the high-power match.

I have an offer ont he table for a guy to trade 3 of my new knives (~$125 each) for a brand new SureFire Delta:

I *do* like the knife (played with it at TAD) but I'm not sure I want to do the trade. Not all of the "features" are all that useful (ie - wrench and glass breaker on a ti framed knife?) Hmmm....

I've played around with that one too. . .very nice knife. Steve Ryan does some very stout blades. Heck, if you break it using it as intended, I'm sure SureFire would replace it!

You going to the 100 or 200? I'll bring my M1a and hopefully my Savage if I can get the correct bases for the optics in time.

Are you shooting in the high power match as well?


Also, anyone interested in the Chabot 200 range, it will be open on Monday the 26th (memorial day) for as long as people want to stay there. I talked to the RM who runs the open day shoots on second saturdays. I'm planning on being there.
 
We'll be at the pistol and rifle ranges. I'll probably set up at the 100yrd range first to check the LTR.

I don't think the 200yrd range is open to non-members on weekends.

But it should be a fun time. Blasty Blasty. :teeth

second saturdays it is, thats when I go :thumbup

although I did overhear the RM saying he might not being doing it (open shoots) much longer, not much interest. They open at 9 and usually everyones done by noon.
