Does anyone have a Ruger 10/22 they want to sell before I go buy a new one?

Also, does anyone know of a place who can beat the Big5 sale price of $219? Yeah I know 20 years ago they were cheap but this is now so who's got the deals?

dang i have looked around myself but i don't know if many people will have prices beating big5. big5 pretty much the cheapest place i've ever seen on the model firearms they sell.

Well it's official now, just spent my play money at Big5 on a Ruger 10/22. $268 w/ dros.

The wait begins. :(

Bad timing for me this year, but check it out. Lots of ways to win cash and prizes.

wow that thing is nice.
hey can you help inform me on the CA laws on "assault" type firearms. From what i was informed somewhere, that if you have a detachable magazine, the grip/stock has to be one piece like a typical rifle. Or if one were to have a normal style pistol grip/stock, that the magazine has to be fixed. I don't understand this.. what is wrong with them? I have been interested in building an ar-15...

You're right. CA law states that you can have either a pistol grip or detachable magazine. Furthermore, CA law states that a magazine is considered non-detachable when it requires a tool to remove it.

On the rifle in the picture, the mag release is under the trigger guard behind the magazine, but you can't see it because there is a shroud hiding it. That shroud makes it such that the magazine can't be removed without having to use a tool, thus non-detachable.

Yes, you can do the exact same thing with an AR.

ah cool thanks! i was beginning to think that id never be able to have such types in this state..

oh lastly, the magazines have to be 10rd right?

The AR-15 style rifle is even easier. You build it the exact same way as a regular AR-15, and instead of the stock magazine release button, you use a bullet button or prince 50 button, which require tools to remove the magazine. It's easy to use, easy to remove in case they change the law, and the gun still looks sinister. I have the Prince 50 on mine :cool

Anyone know much about competitive trap shooting?

You can buy them built from private persons for anywhere from $500 to $2000 :laughing

The off-list receiver will run you around $100
You can get a complete rifle kit from Del-ton.com for about $460 for the bare bones, or you can customize it with some cool stuff (flat-top upper, chrome-lined barrel, some bling handguards, etc)

Keep checking calguns.net for sale forums, and the same at ar15.com. Sometimes there's really awesome deals.
