BARF Militia

So some drunk guy at a party last night told me you could buy CA legal lowers for assault rifles, where the magazine is permanently attached to the gun and you, I dunno, clip load like an SKS or garand or something. Makes sense from a "you don't need a assault rifle to target shoot" view, but I call BS. Anyone care to enlighten me?

i know it doesnt come in .45 acp. i already have 2 .45 1911's
i wanted the XD or glock cuz its cheap and i can beat on it, im GOING to get the expert, FOR SURE, but thats later, and im gonna baby that thing, different guns for different purposes.

just wanted opinions on the XD vs the glock, or even opinions on the XD period, since its a new gun and i havent heard much about them.

To me, if you are in the dark looking for a burgler, etc., although the light lets you see, it also provides an aim point for the other guy. And he may see you first due to you having the light.

If you were that concerened about being able to see in the dark in order to shoot, wouldn't you want to invest in some good night vision goggles?

The light has a momentary switch so you dont have to have the light constanly on... plus with 110 luminance I dont think you can see very well with that light in your eyes...its just a lot easier than holding a light.

And its fun when I go up to my dads and play in the BLM land at night.

As the store's alarm rang, thieves made off with 32 rifles and handguns from a Fremont gun shop early Wednesday, less than two weeks after police announced they will soon ignore burglar alarms unless there was a confirmed crime.

Irvington Arms owner Martin MacDonald was livid over the break-in at his shop, where burglars used an aluminum baseball bat to break the front door and smashed display cases with a crowbar before making off with $20,000 in weapons.

Good thing the owners of the new handguns are required by law to register them, right? That way, if they are used in a crime and left behind, police will be able to trace them to the criminal who stole them.
