Blind -- I agree with you, but I also believe that we have to give the douche a chance to prove himself to have reformed his douchey ways.

Divz -- We're watching. No more of the two-laning AT ANY F00KIN' HOUR. Your driving sucks. Get some training. If any of us on here posted some video displaying riding skills that poor Teh BARF would be up their ass. And that has happened, well, they didn't ride as shitty as you drive, but the point still stands.

We shall see if you have a spine/balls/honour from what you do from here on out. But I pity your ass -- and possibly your "crew's" -- should you all DECIDE (yes, it is a decision, despite your excuses/piss-poor attempts at justification) to drive in a manner to which we have all bore witness (thanks intrawebz!).

Alright, I'm done here. I hope you get/got the message.

Hmm. I just got back from 3 days of scouting for the rally. It looks like there's lots for me to catch up on. I'll post up my thoughts after I've had a chance to go through the thread.

Thanks for all the BARF support. :thumbup

i will be up there this weekend on saturday.

Driving or walking? Frankly, knowing you and people like you are on that road makes me think twice about riding it.

No offense, but all I've got to go on is your past behavior. Only your future actions will determine whether what you're saying today has any merit whatsoever.

And that still won't change the fact that there are others like you who think that sort of misbehavior is justifiable. My worst fear is coming around a blind turn (and that's the vast majority of turns on most of the nice roads around here) and finding a car fully in my lane. There's only so much we can do to try to mitigate that circumstance; often it's a choice between flying off a cliff or into a car.

When you have that situation, you get to deal with a ticket or three, some car body damage, a few license points, and some outrageous insurance rates.

We die.

He's doing this because he's backed into a corner and this is the only way he could possibly try to save face, not because he's actually sorry. His excuses are the worst kind of platitudes and I've heard them all hundreds of times before in my line of work. He does not impress me, he doesn't have big brass balls for coming in here - he's scared and backed into a corner and he just wants it all to go away. That isn't manning up, that does not deserve my respect.

There's clearly nothing he can say that's going to convince you. I think you've made your point. If you keep making it, you may prevent an interaction between divz and the OP that could be beneficial for someone. Your call.

divz, I don't think I've met Blind_Io, so I cannot claim to know all of the things that are causing him to react to you more strongly than others are. I do know that he was injured in a crash almost a year ago in which a careless driver took him out. It may or may not be related, but you can probably understand how a rider who has had serious injury and faced the possibility of being killed due to someone else's negligence would have pretty definite opinions about drivers who appear to drive without regard for others' safety. You may wish to take it into account as you continue the conversation.

then thats you, im not trying to make this all go away, I KNOW this won't go away, but if you don't believe what i say and what i took in consideration then i can't do anything about that. im not perfect, i make mistakes, you sound like you've never made a mistake, or EVER did anything to endanger someones life. everyone has done something, your the only one preceding an image that EVERYONE is on my back, then ok, go start another thread, this is the thread from kurt, who i am apologizing most to, and to every body else in the community, this is my last reply to you blind_io because i don't want this to escalate to anything more, believe what you believe don't try and get everyone else on your side, and stop trying to get attention. i said what i needed to say and i meant it. i will be up there this weekend on saturday if you have anything to say to me.

Yes, I have made mistakes. Yes, some of them were dangerous, however, I have never come close to killing anyone.

You habitually intentionally put the lives of others at risk for your own amusement. That is not a mistake, that is a behavior pattern - or to put it in the words I used with a former acquaintance of mine:
Once is a mistake. Twice is a fuck-up. Three times and you are making a choice.

You made it to three in only one of your own videos (one that I might add proves you to be a lying sack of shit since it directly contradicts what you have said in this thread).

I imagine that, until today, running away or ignoring the problem worked quite well. You can ignore me all you like, but I stand by what I have said. Your unwillingness to face the music in this thread shows your true inflated and entitled perception of self-worth.

Hey, div - Can you just promise to make an effort to stay in your own lane?

That would make me feel better about this whole thing. :)

Amm... I think your other "divine" friends also need to do what you say you guys don't do - "cross double yellow"- at night or day
while tell a female passenger in the back that:

"We are not even pushing it" - "We can go faster".... moments later almost has a head on collision with a truck after crossing DY in a corner or purpose!

I don't ride redwood or pinehurt very much but I love to when I can with other barfers, barfettes, or by my self but man. You almost killing Kurt (+ you and your friends driving the way you all do) really just really had me @#@$% and scared for my friends (east bay barfers, motorist, cyclist, and whoever else).

A lot of us do track days if we really want to push it (I personal don't go beyond 50% in the street). Many of us stunt and go to closed areas to do so (barf is blessed with many skilled safe stunters). A whole lot of us like hitting the canyons but safety is priority and crossing DY is a cardinal sin!

We Barfers are not perfect but I can tell you that as a whole we police our self's. If one of us would have done what you and have, trust that the same treatment would descend upon him, her, or them.

im not making this a riders v. drivers battle..by saying all this, you are making it to be a battle which i don't want and im guessing what you want. stop trying to instigate this argument even more. i said what i said and i meant what i said. and ive already seen earlier in the thread people explaining the same thing you are saying so stop trying to repeat what everyone else says. i said i was sorry and leave it at that.

The second you crossed a double yellow, YOU made this You vs insert x here.

Suck it up, pray like hell you don't end up getting arrested, or as a notch on darwin's bed post, or at the worst killing some other poor un-involved party.

"Having humility" or not, in showing up here to apologize for acting like a reckless prick on a public roadway, doesn't say a thing about honor, or your maturity.

You placed not only your own, but other people's lives at risk. This is not something you can just let go of an move on.

I say this to you, and everyone else (be it 2,3,4,6,18 wheels, etc...), that choses to "push their limits" on public road ways.

Grow the fuck up, and take the shit to the track.

+100 I used to take Redwood from Oakland to Castro Valley. No more. Thanks for ruining a good thing. :thumbdown:mad

btw, Gixxxergirl, did you ever own a kawasaki 250?

I learned to ride a long time ago on a Kawasaki KX250 2-stroke dirt bike, it was the last Kawi I ever owned... was on the Off Road Patrol out at Carnegie for about 3 years, but that would've been before you were born. All my "big girl bikes" have been Suzuki Gixxers (an '86 Vintage Gixxer1100, and my current baby, the '03).

I hope you'll talk to your "crew"... their driving is on a par with yours, which is pretty much sub-par... please don't make us shine the spotlight on them, next. And I would offer up this piece of advice... if you want to risk your life, that's your business, but you DO NOT do that shit when you have passengers! And when someone in your vehicle asks you to slow down, YOU SLOW DOWN. I hope you'll pass that along to your "crew".
If I'm not up Mines at the 1Rider booth on Saturday, I'll swing by Redwood and Pinehurst. We'll have a little chat.

Your license should be revoked from the evidence in those youtube videos. You and your 'crew' should find something productive to do.

I pity you and I hope your negligence on the road doesn't kill someone...

Hopefully the few law enforcement officers reading this post will be on the lookout for you, or, alert other officers of your negligent driving....and you need to learn how to type coherently to get your point across...

And here we are, now wondering if the roads up in the hills are being poisoned by locals with oil and coolant. Simply because of "motorcyclists".

Yes, I was taken out by a driver and I now have limited mobility in my arm for the rest of my life. So maybe I am reacting more strongly than others who haven't been hit by a car, and I hope that no rider ever has to experience the pain I did. Because of one inattentive driver, I endured months of rehabilitation and severe pain following a surgeon going at my shattered joint with a power drill and implanting a series of titanium screws to hold my elbow together. I am now limited in my activities, have severely reduced strength and mobility and suffer chronic pain.

One person's inattention will be with me for the rest of my life.

Divine-Turd Burgler, on the other hand, is intentionally putting people at risk and has already nearly killed one rider that we know of and come close to having a head-on with a number of other vehicles in his own videos.

So yeah, I have a pretty fucking strong reaction to asshattery like this. That and the fact my girl and I regularly ride those roads and either one of us could have ended up as hood-meat being scraped off into a baggie.

Those of you who know me in person know that I am typically a rational and reasonable person. Online or in person, I leave emotion out of it, but this dickcheese has me spoiling for a beat-down. I don't like physical fights, I prefer to solve problems with words and I have successfully done so for over a decade. I say this because I want you to get the full force of my meaning when I say this: I severely and without regard to consequences or my own safety want to pound this fucker's face in to the pavement until the only sound he makes is the wet slap of meat on concrete.

While I hold my composure better than Io, I feel his pain. I was sent flying in the air by a 19yr in a Ford Excursion being a @$#@^%. I abandoned saving it and ejected my self from the bike before I became the squishy part of a bike and tree sandwich (which would have killed me). I stopped sliding when I hit a bush/parked car (yes, I thankfully had my race suit on).

Again, we are concerned about not just our self's but other barfers, rider, drivers, and cyclist alike. I do see what Io is pointing out... again I think more us do (just remaining silent about it). If no such retarded driving took place, at night or otherwise, why remove the video?

I believe it's better to forgive a person then to be more angry toward that person. You will find more peace within you when you do let go. Just my :2cents

And as great as that is, sometimes it takes an Agent of KarmaTM to make the world a better place, or at least show some fucksticks the error of their ways.

EDIT: To be clear I am not encouraging violence, only expressing frustration at this simpleton's apparent inability to understand the grave nature of his actions and the consequences thereof.

Also, why the FUCK does he have "Ducati" listed as a moto in his profile? As a rider, I'm fucking insulted.

Fuck.

I was really surprised their mod didn't lock the thread, or give me a vacation... and most of the guys have been really nice, and more pissed at this Saki guy than anything else. Nice to see!

Oh that would be epic!!! :laughing

as one of the mods and fellow barfer.. i wasnt going to lock the thread unless it got waaay too unruly. we don't take too kindly to "street racers" over there.

You've typed an awful lot of words in this thread. Personally, I don't believe most of them, but my opinion isn't worth any more (or any less) than anyone else's. So I'll just point out one flaw in your "logic", based on your own words below.

...and in none of the videos do we double lane during the day and if we do it was only turns where you can see right to the next few turns. and the faith reaction to touge no way was the driver close to running into the bmw....

You're either blind, stupid, or lying if you believe what you typed above. Here's a link to the video (one that won't be deleted so easily), and you can review it yourself if you like. Right about 20 seconds in. The moron in the camera car (I assume it's you or one of your equally useless friends) cuts over the yellow around a blind corner, is surprised by a BMW, and only because the BMW panic brakes and has enough room to dart right is a head-on collision avoided. No, there was no crash. But if that oncoming driver was spooked, locked up their wheels, slid a bit left instead of right, the video would have had a much more exciting conclusion.

I sure want to believe you understand the seriousness of your asshattery, but somehow I just don't. I hope that when you do wreck the car, you A: don't harm anyone else in the process and B: your parents, who will be alerted to this thread one way or another, realize financing your "driving" isn't a smart use of their funds.
