so much negativity.
i dont understand why everything you guys have to say is negative.
my only problem is i dont get why you guys are trying to involve law enforcement. its going to just cause more problems for riders and drivers. you guys are all up there way more than we are. and the speeds ive seen SOME of you ride at are definitely not legal. lets just share the road. and be happy.![]()

YOU GUYS FLY THROUGH DEAD STOP TRAFFIC AT HIGH SPEEDS! do you realize how dangerous that is? i almost hit a biker in traffic because he was flying by me so fast that i couldnt even tell he was that close to me. ive been through redwood/pinehurst numerous times in which there was a bike behind me ON MY ASS! and you know what? to me it was all fun and games. i mean sure ill try my luck and try to outrun a bike. sometimes it happens but i mean cmon.. if you guys do that type of sh*t to a driver who isnt too experienced youre gonna drive him off a cliff. no one wants some bike on their ass hell of loud pressuring them.
one of my best friends rides a bike. he also touges a car. and you know what? he respects both. and he has told me how some of you guys ride throughout the bay area and youre no better than divine. i was pulled over on pinehurst the other week and a see a biker from far away. i throw up my peace sign and what does he do? HE FLIES BY ME A FULL THROTTLE INCHES FROM ME. i seriously almost felt his clothes as he flew by.
so congrats.. you will never see me in my car on redwood again.
Thanks for posting up, here. I posted on the other forum in a more friendly manner so that maybe some rational thinkers would take charge of the loose cannons.I just heard about this from another forum and that whole stuff about crossing the lines is retarded......

Hmm... whatddya know! The DMV website says the plate is available!

Noooo... damn there goes half my prediction.
oh Well Come GG1000 for the Win.

I just heard about this from another forum and that whole stuff about crossing the lines is retarded. I don't think that is a good idea to even do that in the day with all the public around in which more then just one person will get hurt from this. I just lost a friend for doing this in a track subaru rs and the car ended hitting another car which was a dually pickup, The accident was so bad that the rs was torn into 2 pieces and my friend died at the scene. All that stuff should be done at a track where no one will get hurt and you can go as fast as you want. Hearing this happening in a area that has tracks everywhere you can go to it shouldn't be hard to run your car there. The area I live in there is only 1 track that is close and thats 45 minutes away all the other tracks are 5 hours away. So I don't see why you have to do this in traffic and may even cause someone to die just by hitting something. Just remember my friends car had a cage and was already set up to be a track monster, all it took was a run on a back road and a dually to just rip the car into 2. So just think about your reactions when you do this. So what if no one got hurt now but something will happen down the road and all it takes is one time to mess up someones life. This is all I'm going to say about this.
losing a friend, even when they're doing something they love, is so difficult, and it leaves such a hole in your life. Redwood Road cost me dearly last October, when someone very special to me died there while riding.my only problem is i dont get why you guys are trying to involve law enforcement.
everything is clear except why not just talk to him? he isnt underage he is 19 parents dont need to be brought into this. it seems people are assuming his parents bought him his car??It's a long thread with a lot of noise, and maybe you missed a key point. The problem driver has not really owned his actions. Everything was the fault of someone else. He and his apparent friends have indicated that their way of driving is not going to change. I have offered in this thread to have a meeting with him and his parents regarding our interaction and his driving. He hasn't responded. In the absence of some verifiable evidence of voluntarily changed behavior, it appears that the best option to prevent a tragedy is involve law enforcement.
Clear?

Someone please point me to where he said he would change his ways; all I saw was a warning about which hours he plans to keep driving like a retard.

redwood road is my favorite road to be on. and from now on when you see me on this road, i am in my own lane, driving will be to and extent where it won't endanger other drivers or riders but still in my mind of having fun, and yes i know what that is and how it feels like.

Ok hes 19, but does he still live at home? Thought I read somewhere that parents are still on the hook for any actions of a child under 25 still living at home. So if he takes someone out, mommy n daddy have to pay as well.....
Common sentiments expressed from the BARF side of the house:
A statement some of you may have missed:
We'll see, but at least he's given an indication that he'll stay on his side of the road.
really? what is the track gonna do even if he goes there? you think just becuase he goes to one track event that would mean no more redwood?lolz. like he can be trusted to drive "how he feels like". the way he's going he'll be blowing the DY on accident if not on purpose.
i say 2 options: proof of track day or get parents involved. punk is lucky he's not in jail.
