I think the Mustang Mach-E was a great marketing move. Most buyers want crossovers and most buyers aren't enthusiasts.

Makes perfect sense to label their electric crossover with their strongest marquee and play from a stronger position. :dunno

Just looked at Ford's website and I can confirm that they are selling the 2021 Mustang Mach-E. So, you are wrong, sorry, it's a mustang because Ford says it's a mustang and it's their brand to decide what to do with.

OK, but you're still wrong. So are they. Sorry.

Weird how they didn’t call it the “911 Estate” when it was introduced in 2010….. Perhaps Porsche understands marketing and model designations.

When it was released it wasn't an Estate. The wagon wasn't until a bit later.

When was the Panamera not a wagon? :confused

It was introduced in 2010 and looked like this:

Looks pretty wagony to me…. :dunno

The Sport Turismo was announced in 2017....

Growing up my parents had, and still have, nothing but Toyotas.

I have currently a Ford and a Land Rover :laughing

I didn't want to be boring :laughing

Plus I also have zero brand loyalty when it comes to cars, the lineup over the last 25 years:

Chevy x2
Toyota x2
Subaru x2
Honda x2
Ford
BMW
Land Rover

:laughing

No car brand loyalty for me, either. Over the past 30 years:

1 x '91 Nissan
1 x '94 Suzuki
1 x '99 Saturn
1 x '11 Hyundai

We still have the Nissan and the Hyundai.

.

I know it might hurt somebody's feelings but I will never own a Tesla. Probably will never be able to afford one, too. So, problem solved.
