*Liam's Wild Ride*

Would I be right in guessing it is run from either the front brake or a thumb lever due to injury or a heavy foot. It makes no sense to carry the rotor or caliper if they are not connected unless some rule stipulates that they be fitted and if it did i would expect that same rule would specify that they work.

Even thought some riders say they dont use the rear brake i find it useful to change the direction of the bike from time to time.:nerd

I'm not exactly sure how it works but does traction control use the rear brake to manage wheel spin?

could have a linked braking system....
I doubt they are using the rear brake for traction control purposes, that is a rather "cheap" way of doing it and can cause problems in turns and overheat that little brake,

Well, no one picked up anything neat from the photo of Alex - yet, so I'm going to let it be.

Yesterday, I managed to hang out with my friend, Pauly G, along with Endo (from Barf) and it turns out, a whole lot of other Barfers, too! It's only been a week since the USGP, and while I've been crazy busy running errands and trying to take care of my American affairs, I managed to make it to the Sm Hooligan's Trackday on Sunday.
Pauly just picked up a KTM 450 SMR and he was breaking it in and also riding his street XR 650R. I thought, what the heck, I'll just go and take some pictures!

I managed to get some nice action shots. Here's Elena Myers blazing it up at Stockton Motorplex.

Speaking of action, I just couldn't stand not getting any myself, so I borrowed some gear and a bike (thanks Mike!) and decided to spin some laps.

It was really great to hang out with everyone and just relax at the racetrack, something I haven't been able to do in quite a while. Good seeing everyone, and I just want to say that it was a fantastic time. Great job putting everything together Dion, and thanks, also, to Matt Myers. More photos are also uploaded to my website but the action shots will have to wait a little while. I'm off on another trip soon. . . . where will MotoLiam turn up next?

Is that a different helmet he's wearing?
That'd be a negative. Hoffman's always had the roulette helmet.

One thing that I've noticed is how far the rear tire hugger extends. It goes past the axel. Is this for aero or heat protection? The Yammers have about a 1/4 of that. Also, is Pramac running Termi's?

Yeah, but the helmet looks different in the pic Liam pointed out. Couldn't find a photo of the other side of the roulette lid.

one side has the roulette, the other has cards (it's really one of the coolest helmets in motogp):

Hi Liam,

I have a question regarding the MotoGP bike. Why is one of the exhaust interior tubing black and the other one gold (as if no exhaust fumes was coming out from that one)??

Sorry I missed you during the GP w/e.

See you next time or in Europe.

-Chris

or is it back firing? and if so why in one pipe only and why are they different diameters?

ok....voila......enough for the battery of questions :)

That bike was spewing flames out every lap on deceleration for turn 6. It was the only bike doing so and yes, it came from only one pipe every time.

Sorry, can't answer all these questions

Cause MotoLiam is on the move!
This past Tuesday I embarked on yet another cool and fascinating jaunt - this time to Los Angeles! It's the first time I've really moved around as "MotoLiam", or maybe, the first time I've moved around because of the "MotoLiam Phenomenon", and I was proud to be carrying my fresh gear to the land of Hollywood.
