Barf has no place on the patch, so leave that out of it.

Misfits, A necessity

A Koi Fish, or the word "Koi's" but I figured an actual fish would be a better image on a patch then just words IMO.... a necessity

after that no requirements, keep simple on colors though as most of the patch places won't be able to do wild color designs

Yup. How many southbay peeps you think are willing to ride 3 hours to hit a 9am ride time? Or ride slow enough to roll with the Misfits? Not many. And as he clearly said in his earlier post, he can't guarantee anyone a patch. Not quite sure how that works, because it's his club, but...

It's a group of BARF MIsfits... how is that so hard to comprehend, it's those who aren't into the race's, the GP's, the adventure rides, but still wanna or who are into those but wanna

We don't say no to anyone and try to make it clear what the ride is about so that no one is expecting more or less from it....

Again, Budman has given the ok for BARF to be on the patch, and I'm about ready to give this a good ole ....

But no, this is not an exclusive club... My dream is that it's open to all barf members, all motorcycle riders, all children of former slaves and children of former slave owners and that they will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood.

You guys really seem to be getting bent over the equivalent of being cut off by a car. This is a minor thing. Geeze, does everyone complaining about this have a BARF patch on their leathers? A BARF license plate on every one of their bikes? Will this patch somehow lessen your patches and license plate frames?

I did not name this group... straight up no lies... I was at the other side of the table from where this topic originated and didn't find out that it had been decided til afterwards....

Does it make me feel good, of course... but I'm not the one that asked for a patch, i'm not the one who came up with Koi's Misfits... I'm just the one doing the leg work and dealing with

if any of you that were complaining about the exclusivity of the Misfits actually came out and road with us... it'd take about .00048 seconds to

Sounds like a scam to me . "Send me money and I might or might not send you a patch."

So if I were to buy a patch that uses the barf name how much of that money would be donated to barf?

sigh.... not asking for money from everyone, just from those who consider themselves Misfits....

Since the sponsor is one of said misfits, the money would go back to them til the cost was recovered and then we would not accept/need any donations... patches would be given to Budman at no cost to sell on the store as a thank you to him and to BARF, and to help contribute to the site...

patches would be given out freely to those who join us on rides as deemed by the... dare I say... OG Misfits... This isn't about making money on the BARF name...

sigh.... I feel I've said all this before... O wait... I have!

And even within your little club, you're segregating even further? "You're OG, cuz you've been here a month... but you're not, cuz you've only been here 3 weeks, yo, and that's how us OG misfits roll!" Really?

And you're excluding those of us who do NOT consider ourselves "misfits" because we've managed to smile and be friendly at the various BARF functions we attend, and fit in just fine... and those who live too far away to want to spend 2-3 hours slabbing it to Napa... and those who simply ride too fast to be able to tag along on one of your "mellow" rides...
If you want to be a Misfit, that's great... I'm glad you found a niche where you feel you fit in... but taking the BARF name and creating a "club within a club" is totally NOT cool.
